I can see Holden's point, sales are down in the Eastern states so its a smart move to attach themselves to the the biggest sporting club in Australia. Does that mean that Collingwood's deal with Lexus is over?

Yep, I think it was 3 or 4 years ago they downgraded their sponsorship from a Premier partner to a major partner which included giving up the naming rights to our training facility, which Westpac took over, and now they have parted ways for good.

That is how cars are built anywhere in the world these days, with local government investment. You will find government handouts are the norm all around the world for car manufacturing, particularly in western, 1st world countries.
Don't hear anyone complaining about their continued support of Central..........

Well thats great. Im not bitching about them sponsoring anyone. Im just saying thats the typical financial management we can now expect from a company that wont be araround that much longer. GM are almost ******. So lets piss $$ away.
