I know the bloke is often criticised for being poor down the stretch, but how often does LeBron start a game hot? 13 points on 6/6 with 3 rebounds and 2 assists in the first 10 minutes and Miami are up by 12. The frightening thing is he does it every night.

I mentioned on another forum how hot he is at the moment, I have never had much love for him but the things he does are incredible and he is hands down the best player in the league, he just does not play bad games anymore.

MVP by a mile with Melo second and KD third.
I can understand why people don't like him. I'm no fan of him as a person, but I just love what he can do on the court. I think he's a few years from his best too.
I like that call. Was thinking the other day that he was probably the closest thing to Jordan we've had in terms of his 1 on 1 offensive ability. In fact, if both were available in the same draft when they came through, you'd be splitting hairs. Shame Carmelo didn't improve his passing and defense the way MJ did because it's robbed us of a great rivalry. But it's not too late and judging by this season it looks like he's taking winning far more seriously.
Used to feel the same about LBJ - wanted to like him but struggled. Must be an ingrained Aussie "tall poppy" thing.
Then I read this article and my opinion changed dramatically. I urge those who dislike Lebron to have a read and tell me if you still hate him as much, because I'd call you a liar:
The crux of the article is that yes, LBJ has a God-given talent, but that can only get you so far. He works unfathomably hard every day to improve his game and squeeze every last piece out of his abilities. Also great stories regarding his charity work and assistance for the underprivileged.
Yeah i have turned, i still dont love him but you can't not admire how good he is and how well he took the criticism for so called "checking out" late in games. He is amazing.
Another excellent game today.
Denver 0/17 from behind the arc in their game vs Portland.
Yeah 0/17 was half way through the last when I posted.. Bulls / Knicks tomorrow
Some big games for the Knicks coming up. Bulls tomorrow and then Wolves on Monday before heading off on a 3 game road trip starting with the Lakers on Christmas Day. No easy games thats for sure, Wolves looked great against the Thunder today
