Cats apology thread

Talk on the national game

Postby Strawb » Mon May 14, 2007 1:34 pm

As a Geelong supporter and a Geelongite i was born there. I find the Cats are as frustrating to support as West Adelaide. You never know which side will show up and how will they preform. Maybe Geelong should field their 2's at Westies and we will know these two clubs are just the same. Win one week beat the top side then struggle against other clubs when you expect them to win.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Watching Geelongs style of football is akin to watching Paris Hilton stripping naked
or watching KP murder a bowling attack!

I love the way they are playing footy and will barrack for them[just] when
they play West Coast in the 2007 g/final
They are the only team capable of beating WC in a G/F this year

PS they gave the ROOS 8 goals start and nearly beat them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats almost a win

It doesn't matter if us Cat fans get carried away. The problem is when the playing group gets carried away. It is easy to say 'we only beat' but have a look at the three sides we lost to - the three sides that have proven to be our bogey side again and again. If we can get revenge on at least two of them then the maturity level of the playing group will then have to be re-assessed by non Cat fans. Maturity of the playing group and Tactical acumen of the coaching group are still a bit of a worry for mine. Cautiously optimistic only at this stage as my club has only allowed me to be this in the last couple of seasons especially.
