I would have loved to see Stern fine them then. They only got the fine because it was a big game vs the Heat.
If they didn't have such a tough road trip ahead of the Heat game they wouldn't have rested so many.
Last season they rested everyone against Portland and I don't think they were punished?

Can't believe the Spurs got fined. Fair enough the fans might be disappointed that they didn't get to see Duncan, Parker and Ginobili but the Spurs are trying to win a championship, not friends. It's a disgrace that the NBA are telling them they have to compromise their championship hopes for a road game they were always going to find tough.
