St Kilda have enough talent to turn things around once Lyon really settles in. '2007 Premiership threat' may be a bit much tho.

I'm not worried. =;
There's still plenty of time for them to f#%$ it up, as they annually do.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

the Swans are not exactly setting the world on fire at the minute, so keep the champagne on ice for a bit longer...

The Saints are fundamentally brittle and I expect will again this year look spectacular enough to get the Melbourne pundits hopes up for a home flag, before falling over in their traditional manner at the business end of the season. [I admit my Crows have done a bit of that too.]

Yeah fall over at the business end when they run out of players, long term thier
playing on hard surfaces finds them out.
As did Western Bulldogs last year
As will Kangaroos as the 2007 season progresses

Adelaides excuse is West Coast are too good for them

That stuff happens to every team, and Adelaide had the same problems last year, as they have been having early this year.
I suspect the playing surfaces are a problem to all teams - mud may have been less damaging! But the conditions have to suit the sponsors these days not the game....

I thought this would be where the Saints apologise to football followers for having tried to trick everyone into believing they were a football club. My mistake.

Ohh to move back to SA, every Sunday we are subjected to his pontificating waffle in the The Sunday Age.....

He didn't he mentioned footy once in his first two articles when he talked about "successful winning teams" relying on leadership dynamics, intrinsic motivation, cultural values and 20th Century neo-classical keynesian ethics.... :roll: :roll: :roll:

Basically summed up why St kilda did naff all when he failed to mention little things like skill, tactics and getting hold of the pill first.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
