early cup thoughts

hard to see any roughies getting in there.
Melbourne may get some rain which may soften the track a tad more to help europeans.

Exotics look like

1;2;4;8;12;15

dunaden is a class runner
americain super caulfield cup run
red cadeaux had 12months prep for this
mount athos at weight advantage and reputation
galileos choice - trained by the master Weld who tried to sneak in last year
maluckyday - nice geelong cup run, will get the trip

My lucky number (guernsey no) was 15, so I'm keen to have a go at it if its a chance.

There's often a roughie at longer odds 30-1 ish which sneaks into the places.

The trick is trying to pick that horse for the exotics....

umm, more money for other horses?

It's only early, it could sneak back into the low 90's before jump time.

I've taken a few boxed tri's and also a side bet on 7, 8, 12, 19 boxed tri.

Most of my boxed tri's include 2, 4, 12, 15, 20 but I have one each with 6 or 9 or 16.

Really? I'll be surprised if Americain, Dunaden or Red Cadeaux dont win it.
Zabeelionaire the rough place getter for mine.

Domenic Beirne says the same. Nice place odds. Should be gd money in the exotics, especially if something like this one gets in there.

Your probably right Booney (I think Dunaden will win) but all three have negatives too.

We just tried to box 13 in a pick 4 and got told we had too many runners! I always assumed you could pick the full 24 if you were game.
