Being able to watch games on your iPhone with the app is awesome too. Don't have an iPad personally but obviously be even better on there too.

With opening night just under a week away I thought i'd do my predictions for the season:

-Lebron to take his game to an even bigger level after all the pressure has gone to win a title.
-Timberwolves to finally make the playoffs again.
-Lakers v Clippers to face each other in the West conference final
-Bulls to make a second half surge after Rose returns from knee
-Heat and Bulls to face in East conference final.
-Brooklyn to sweep the Knicks in the regular season.
-Nuggets to finish 2nd in the West after regular season.
-76ers to finish 2nd in the East after regular season.

- Heat to beat Lakers in 6 games and Lebron to win second straight finals MVP

It would be great to see the T Wolves make the Playoffs, they have looked alright in preseason so far but it all depends on how they start the season minus Love and Rubio.

No OKC? :?

I reckon it'll be OKC v Lakers Western Final - but not sure who will come out of that. Can't see the Heat losing the East.

Lakers are 0-8 in preseason and Kobe might miss the season opener.

Stern has also announced he will retire next year.

am quite happy about the lakers going win-less in the preseason. the last two times we done that i think was 2000 and 2009. ya'll know what happened at the end of those seasons? 8)

lakers will do similar to miamis big 3 prob id say
take a bit of time to gel and get their game going, but still expect them to be in the finals this year.

NBA preseason means less than AFL preseason. Top teams just want to see what their bench can do and give their starters a few light workouts. Bottom teams want their fans to get excited so try that bit harder to sell tickets.

LA will be a tough team not a doubt about it. Miami still faves IMHO. Who knows what LeBron might do now with a lot of the pressure off him. Bosh and Wade battled injuries at different times in the finals and their outside shooting will improve no end with Allen. OKC still going to be a good side, I expect them and LA to battle for top in the West. Overall, 3 way shootout for the title as I see it. It'll be a bit boring unless someone else bobs up or those sides don't play as well as I think.

Just someone wake me when the West finals start.

I reckon that the Clippers have got the squad to do a little bit better than OKC but i reckon it gonna be a good battle in the West this season.
