I completely agree re: Caddy's statement. He sounded petulant with that comment.

Win his position? Hope out of that time machine gadget. ;)

Young to collingwood. Interesting, another running defender. Collingwood have done ok this period. Dawes and Wellingham but gained Lynch and Young and has 3 firsy round selections in the draft.

Koby Stevens has nominated the Dogs as his club of choice.
Who the hell is he? Has he even played a game yet

Stevens is a young mid well down the pecking order at the Eagles. Gaff has won the battle for the 'young' midfielders spot and Kerr and Priddis aren't going anywhere with Shuey just getting started.

If Stevens 'goes to the Dogs' then he'll be worth a look big time in SC next season.

Reb I think you guys have done pretty well. If HMac stays fit and on the park your ruck divison becomes imposing. Caddy will be a great addition to your midfield and Rivers will love playing down back for the cats.

Also with HMac this allows probably Vardy to come in and spend more time forward to compliment Hawkins, Steve j and the small brigade. A good period for geelong and I think we will see a better season from them next year.

We need some football from Menzel and Varcoe. We really missed their run in 2012. We couldn't afford to have two of our best 22 out for the year after four senior players had retired.

So is Stephenson going to be the one pushed out at Geelong?
Believe they have to make room on their list and someone has to go

Mitch Brown being traded maybe might free up a spot.

Did Orren get a 2 year deal last year being picked up in the national draft?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

1 year deal I think
Not sure he would want to be a third string ruckman

Stephenson looks ahead of Simpson who is still a very unknown quantity. The Cats are probably going to be a bit more patient with Simpson so I'd say Orren's days are numbered. McIntosh's recruitment is mainly for the benefit of West and Vardy. Both of these guys play reasonably well up forward, probably better than McIntosh but a fit HMac is a better ruck than anyone we have at the club.

According to the Cats board on BF the players who could be under the gun are Mitch Brown (there was some talk of him being groomed to go back) and Tom Gilles. Both of these guys might start looking at other clubs due to a lack of opportunity. Brown in particular could be a loss and many Catters on BF would prefer to develop Brown rather than bring in Rivers.

Pick 40 + Knights compo pick for Graham + 50

Rumour also that Carlton have gotten involved in the Tippett/Sydney/Crows deal.

Yeah me neither - what are we up to?? Surely they wouldn't recruit both White and Graham - hoping they do something with another club to offload one of them for something better.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

If Jesse White comes to the Crows, IMO he will be groomed as a replacement full back for Rutten

Ivan Maric had pretty much become a part time hack in Adelaide before he went to Richmond.

Perhaps Angus Graham can step up with his move to Adelaide - or play out the season in Jacob's shadow filling in a spot on a SANFL Reserves roster... dumb trade
