Potentially very solid midfielder, still very young.

Port want Jacobs out, Greenwood in.
North want Campbell out, Jacobs in.

Campbell will go anyway, and if he has to go to the draft, I doubt anyone would pick him up, same as Jacobs going.

North don't want to part with Greenwood, so just make the clayton's trade FFS...

By the by, I am done with trade week, lose a few picks that will only be average due to concessions, and pick up Caddy, Rivers and Macintosh... Quality mid/fwd, a solid back and dominant-when-fit ruck. Couldn't be happier.

Jacobs has a real future ahead of him and could, I say could be better than average, Campbells ability is on the table for all to see. No deal.

We. Want. Levi back.

Nope didn't make all Australian actually.

Made the 40 man list.

Cox
Sandilands
Jacobs
Nic Nat
Maric
Jolly
Mumford

Not in my top seven in the league and a few fringe that are better too IMO

25 average small forward for a 20 year old promising mid?

No thanks.

Take Campbell for free in PSD or North can keep him.

I think the free agency has been a positive step for AFL footballers. In all some fringe players have been able to move easily and it has given some players that have served their clubs with distincition a chance to freshen up or get a few more bucks. Afl players careers are getting shorter, so bit more money at the end would help. Will a mid season draft be the next step? help clubs if their is long term injuries. help players if they need more chances? I cant see it happening, but food for thought.

Cats picks ups.

Rivers - will do well at Geelong with less ball heading down his way and better players around him. Should provide a couple of good years service and is the best pick up as far as 2013 is concerned.

McIntosh - Was playing good footy and is more than capable when fit which is obviously the issue. If we can get him right he'll be our number one ruckman. He will be managed in a manner similarily to Ottens and his long range benefit will be as a mentor to players such as Vardy, West and Simpson. I think McIntosh's arrival probably spells the end for Orren although Simpson hasn't done that much yet. Vardy will be the player who will go up front.

Caddy - Can't say I know a lot about Caddy but his 'heart wasn't in it' comment was something I didn't like hearing. I'm tipping he'll improve out of sight playing alongside blokes like Selwood, Bartel and Kelly. Caddy will be groomed for the midfield sooner rather than later due to our ageing on ball brigade. He'll provide some much needed run.

All in all this is the most active I can recall us being during the offseason since 2001 although I'm hoping we haven't selected any Justine Murphy types this time around.

At the moment I agree with you. I meant a few years ago he was getting better and had a lot of potential before his injuries.

REB, I've never seen Rivers win his position, ever. I really think he's ordinary. Obviously you see some potential in him but for mine, there are better third tall options out there.

I completely agree re: Caddy's statement. He sounded petulant with that comment.

He's probably not a key backman but has been forced into that role. He'll carve up at the Cattery on the third tall.
