Didnt the Port Magpies sack him?
Being that they are one club you would think they wouldnt want a repeat dose

Hopefully, this isn't reflected in the way whoever it is goes about things and ends up being directly proportional to the success of the club from 2013 onwards.
Port need to sort this mess out ASAP and attempt to get some stability sooner rather than later or next season will be a dogs breakfast and wooden spoon favouritism may follow.
They have lost 2 of there starting 22 dont have a coach and couldnt beat the gws this year. I thought it was already inferred spoon favouritism?

Al Clarkson was just an average player who became a pretty good coach.
I reckon Ports next most important appt is Darren Burgess- The Fitness coach. I really don't think that our best 22 is that bad, depth and too many injuries to our best players is a big part of the problem.
With everyone fit and not including Salter, Hitchcock, Banner and Phillips who I think will be delisted, this could be our team. They just need to sat on the park
F- R. Gray John Butcher Westhoff
HF - Broadbent Schulz P. Stewart
C- Cornes Boak Wingard
HB - Pittard Trengrove Moore
B- Cassisi Carlile Surjan
R- Redden, Ebert, Hartlett
Interchange - (from)Brett Ebert, Lobbe, Thomas, D. Stewart, Logan, Pfeiffer, Logan, O' Shea, Jonas, Blee, Renouf ( the first 5 in, then a blanket over the rest)
This isn't including Rodan and Jacobs who are doubtful, as well as possible additions in Monfries, Russell any trades and draft picks.
Any thoughts ???

Whether thats good or bad is still to be seen. I would expect us to be reasonably active in the next 2 and a bit weeks though.

I agree to an extent that the best 22 aren't too bad, but there are still passengers. Westhoff i don't think is up to AFL standard, he goes missing and his hardness is questionable. Lobbe and Redden are good backups at best, Renouf is probably ahead of them but didn't have a great season. Carlile is pretty average too, but isn't helped by the rest of the side letting him down. I like the way Trengove goes about it, but I'm not sure if he can hold down CHB though; hopefully he can, cause without Chaplin that's probably where he'll be.
I havn't seen really anything from Jacobs, but was a high draft pick. Hopefully he stays and shows something.

Even though it's only Rucc, it looks like it's definitely Hinkley as quotes from Eade's manager confirm he's been told he's out.

F@#k Rucci is a knob... didn't he report earlier in the week that Eade had pulled out of the running? WTF is Rucci doing... take a stab often enough and you might come up with something that ressembles the truth.
