I would give up 17 for him.

Told today that former Richmond player Dan Conners is a chance to be picked up by the Crows. Friends with quite a few of them (Vince, Walker) and they have told the club they will help keep him in line. Has plenty of talent but has a few issues.

The saints who finished 9th or 10ish have lost there best player. Port have lost 2 of there starting 22. Tippett jast pissed of from the state and is dancing around like a hired gun from the old west with his services off to the highest bidder.

Although its nice to have news I reckon this cant be good long term. What are other peoples opinion on this?

Im not a fan of free agency but what I dislike more is when players state what team they want to go to who are not free agents. It really can force the hand of their current clubs. If you want out of one club then thats your choice but it should be up to that club to get the best it can for itself. Now with more than 1 team in all competing states I dont mind players stating what state they would prefer to go to but dont single out a specific club.

I agree. If a 17yo does it, it's draft tampering!

I tend to agree, but Richmond had given him plenty.

Gold Coast won't give up their number 2 pick. The Crows can't really afford to play too hard ball with the Suns because they could get nothing for Tippett if they do.

I think it might be a player (Day or Gorringe) and a 2nd round pick........maybe! (this is a hypothetical)

I'd guess at Gorringe + 1st Round or Day + 2nd Round

Gorringe and Day were seen at West Lakes shopping centre yesterday according to half of bigfooty so looks like they could be in a trade.

I think Gorringe has wanted to come home for a while, so whether it's part of the Tippett deal or another, I reckon he's likely to find his way to either Adelaide or Port.
