I don't like the fact that he's not based in SA, but if he can attract some decent sponsorship, and get the club headed in the right direction then I won't be fussed. Time will tell I guess.
Some massive decisions needing to be made atm by Port, with massive consequences. Hopefully they get the selection of president, coach, and draft picks correct in the next couple of months.

Rob Chapman, Adelaide FC president, lives in Sydney and only attends board meetings and I'd suggest as Bank SA boss he might be a little busier than a bloke who finishes work at 9am everyday.

Cameron has been at Hawthorn since 2009, perhaps no premiership, but pretty sure the fall out from 08 and the years since have been a pretty good grounding as far as "success" goes.

I'm surprised Chaplin has been chased so hard with his knee issues, which I believe are fairly serious.

Not me, but many Port fans wont care about losing Pearce.

Is Chapman still in Sydney, or in Adelaide now?

As for player movement from the club, its pretty clear the current group has failed. There needs to be a broom swept through, and if there are casualties such as Pearce and Chaplin, then so be it.

Agreed, this playing group has failed and players in the 100-150 game bracket are much to blame for this, although the coaching / player development has also been fairly poor.

I've got no issues with losing Chaplin, the role he has been playing sweeping across half back does not suit his skill level, he isn't good enough by foot to do that and his knee, as I said, I believe is an issue.

Pearce I wont be happy to lose, he does posses the skills to make a difference, but he often gets the #1 tagger and struggles with it.

What is Boak thinking now?

Pretty sure Chapman moved back to Adelaide earlier in the year.

Would be absolute lunacy to hide someone with Koch's profile and polish on the board. Need him front and centre. Reakon it would be news to him to knockoff at 9am!

Losing underachievers from a playing list that hasn't made the finals in five years is no great loss...

KT has the runs on the board both on and off the field,

Eddie McGuire was a journo, yes a sports journo but how does that make him a great President?
I think a finance background is a great start for a club who is on the brink of going under and in need of making some crucial calls.
Plus being a media personality has worked in the past so why not now?

How many extra members will he get thru his media role?

How much 'free' marketing will Port get thru his media role... Personally don't like the bloke and avoid his shows as much as possible, but I don't see it as a bad move for the power... Kochie vs Duncanson.... easy choice
