GWS would not give tippo 4-5 years at $750k they are going to need all cap room in the next few year for the kids that are already there or every club will pick them off one by one.

Tippo is a good player with potential to be a great player but also the potential to be an overrated player. Like someone else mentioned a few more knocked to the head and he is gone.

Greenwood from North apparently looking for opportunities at another club.

Will be interesting to see if Port show any interest. Perhaps a deal involving Jacobs, and exchange of draft picks.

Really happy to get Knights today, really disappointed to get Chaplin. We need a genuine full-back to take the best forward each week, not a third tall to try to float across a pack.

Completely agree. Wish we chased Lake or someone else instead

Lake wouldn't have many years left in him though.

Fair point. I did note that the club said it wasn't going to chase contracted players, so weren't going to pursue him. Perhaps if the Roos offered to pay part of his wage, we might.

Handy type who uses it well. I dont think we'd agree to Jacbos for Monfries. Well, I hope not.

Just plenty of talk in Melbourne at the moment that the best compo you will get for him will be a third round pick and the Bombers get nothing for Gus because of the Goddard deal.
Sounds like a player swap would suit both parties

if this deal is true Crows would have rocks in there head not to take it, although i dont rate Dawes all that highly he is very much like for like with Tippet as a forward that can pinch hit in the ruck (which the crows need) plus 2 high quality picks. Massive win for the crows if this happens imo

Understand all discussion here is speculative, but legit question - is Wellingham good enough for pick 17 in whats supposed to be a top draft year?

I think so, very under rated midfielder due to playing is the same side as swan and pendles.

I think so. He is also a goal kicker, who IMO, should play forward more than mid.
