Interesting that the ALP seems to have a connection in the running of St Peter's.
St Peter’s College: board includes SA Labor’s “chairman of choice” and Olympic Dam adviser Bruce Carter. The Ferrier Hodgson partner/superdirector is also on Julia Gillard’s GST review panel

Wouldn't be the first: Don Dunstan and John Bannon both went to Hackney High

I love some of the replies to the article.

OPPOSITION health spokesman Martin Hamilton-Smith has refused to rule out a leadership challenge and says he will talk to colleagues about recent speculation following his return to Adelaide today.

M H-S needs to be lined up and told to pull his head in. He is not foreman material. Still thinks he is operating in the officers mess at a military base near you.

You really are sad, Jimmy.

You're trying your hardest to get under my skin because you're so sore about any criticism of your beloved SA Liberal Party that it eats away at you anytime I post some of this stuff. The borderline stalker-ish obsession you have had with me almost immediately when I first started posting on here I took initially as a bit of argy-bargy but you're getting too creepy now.

I'll ask you nicely to please stop okay?

Mmmm, I'm not so sure that he is. He's not all that personable and I don't think he is popular in the party room which is always a gauge isn't it?

I think I read somewhere that he once instigated a leadership challenge against Iain Evans when Evans was interstate at the time.

The speculation seems to have diminished somewhat since the ratings went up after Isobel's apparent gaffe re public service numbers.
I must admit I was concerned some parliamentary members may turn off her after that one but it hasn't happened.

I still think keeping everything quiet until the election is actually called is the way to go.
Of course the media don't like it, and nor do the ALP.

As I said, despite the media, PSA and Labor hysteria, a lot of people actually think she's right

I'm not sure that the recent poll totally took into account the PS comments blunder - ie. I think that some of the polling was done before her comments.
