Walker proved a lot of peeps wrong last night re flat track bully. The 22 year old 50 game player booted 5 snag rolls in a match winning finals performance against a red hot quality opposition. Could have kicked 8

Carey was a loose cannon in younger years and if you can read between the lines about Walker and Neil Craig I reckon Craigy was right holding him back.... He is only starting to get his head around being an AFL footballer and previously he would have been a distraction for himself and the club.
Every 2nd person on the streets calls him a fwit and a knob..... If he couldn't play people wouldn't mention anything.

Maybe it's because he really is a fwit an a knob.

Its just you Sky Pilot your the tool.
Ross Lyon is one of the most composed & respected coaches in the game in my eyes.
Freo lose by 10pts, Pavlich definately wasn't fit & struggled which gave the Crows their Preliminary Final chance.
Unfortunately for the Crows they have no chance next week, Hawks by 60+.

Nothing against Pilot but I agree with the rest of what you said NM. Ross' style is shocking on the eye but it gets results. Freo will be about the place next year. Since when did this mob ever win against North, Geelong and St Kilda in Melbourne. They are out because they didn't win enough games to get top four and a home final (and Pav was at half rat power for sure). They haven't travelled two weeks in a row for a couple of years I remember the commentators saying.

Hawks easily next week.

Whilst most of that is true REB I thought Lyon was well and truly out coached last night by a rookie.
Why Silvagni stayed on Walker only he knows, yes Pav was half rat but maybe Lyon could have put him the ground to get him away from Rutten.
Was staggered by his and the match selectors call to drop Bradley and bring in an absolute spud in Clarke, lost count of how many times the big fella stuffed up and turned the ball over

Perfect example of why the review works. No way was that a goal

Don't have problem with that as surely defensive team should get benefit of doubt in that situation and at the least it should have been a free to Embley anyway.

He's had a great year but that's 2 bloody terrible bits of play by Shuey in the space of 90 seconds.

i really hope 44 blokes beat the crap out of each other tonight.... or all key players do injuries... nothing serious, just so they miss a game or 2... :D

Eagles need to hang tough here. I can see Collingwood falling away with their game style.

I agree. It seems there's more than a little bias in the commentary box

Brilliant quarter by Thomas and the Pies, got out to a 16 point lead but a West Coast goal after the siren has made it 10 points at 3/4 time. Cant see the Pies losing from here.
Didak subbed off at 3/4 Time
