There are 2 Davorens. Mark and Matt. Mark played a handful of games. Matt played many. So possibly is Mark's son.

How good a game did Gray have, he is a gun.

Brave mark in the third, was the start of our comeback, and Barber had a cracker I reckon, McGregor was dominant until Barber went to him. Was the only one that could stop him from marking everything that came near him.

Tippett continues to impress, looks like he can take a mark too. And how good was that smother by big Leo Clark in the last when the Eagles were going to clear, yet again...

It is great to see that the Bloods believe in themselves again.

I dont think this will be the last time we get to sing the club song.... 8)

THis what Adelaidenow had on there website

SANFL: Boods stun Eagles

WEST Adelaide has produced a stunning upset over 2006 premier Woodville-West Torrens by clinging on for a four-point win at Broadspectrum Oval today. The Bloods defied the odds to hit the lead half-way through the final term and from there defended grimly to hold off the desperate Eagles, who have just one win in 2007.

Damian Cupido booted four goals for the Bloods as did Robbie Gray, who was a standout for best-on-ground with his creative play up forward.

Eagles forward Mark Passador kicked four for the visitors while Crows utility Ken McGregor made an encouraging comeback from injury.

No 4 for westies , dominant takes a fantastic contested mark.

Saw patches of how The Eags played last year , however still way off the mark.

West looked ok ,have some rythym to them this year compared to the last few years

Matthew Barber is 20 years old from Ainslie Football Club in the ACTFL. Matthew is a
very athletic 6 foot 4 key position player with plenty of courage and strong hands.

My quote from westies site recruit announcement :)

Was originally thought by supporters to be a development type player but has grab his opportunity and looks to have a very good future, agreed very good pickup - the entire back six is coming on with most of them being relative youngsters.
