NO but do you realise the people there singing arent being held hostage and are choosing to do so.

With incentives courtesy of MMM sponsors no doubt including probably free tickets to the game and more most likely.

If this was normal behavior for Crowd fans without inducement then maybe you have a point. Instead you are acting unpaid for MMMs marketing department by making so much mileage out of their stunt.

PS : how did you not know it was a stunt?

PPS : how much would it cost me in slabs of beer to find a 5 man "choir" from ANY club's supporters and have them sing sonewhere embarrassing like yesterday's effort? I reckon it would be affordable. Media outlets have finding gullible/willing fans for almost anything for years. Just ask Sammy Newman.

not really to fussed about whether it was or wasnt a stunt.

either way is embarrasing for the Adelaide FC and its supporters.

will go down in their history like the fire walking, toyoto camry crows, future so bright etc etc ;)

Honestly don't think the AFC care at all about it to be honest, particularly in the middle of a finals series taking their attention right now.

Maybe post finals they can run a royal commission into the choir.

I wouldn't personally have done it but I am not going to lose any sleep because MMM managed to buy themselves a crows choir for a publicity stunt.

Mate, when it was shown on national tv, MMM wasn't mentioned. All reasonable South Australians are highly embarrassed by the stunt. Guarantee it won't be happening next week. The AFC will make sure of that.

Well it's not even rated it's own thread on BigFooty all in board that I can see if that means anything and there's one short thread on it on the Crows board where some care and some don't.

Just not convinced anyone outside SA cares too much and most are aware of the MMM influence. I've got mates in Melbourne who haven't mentioned it yet and I think without being aware of the knitting needles stigma then it just goes over their heads.

As I said, I wouldn't have done it but geez there's been plenty of cringe worthy acts by team supporters over the years. I can understand why some of you are embarrassed by it though.

Keep defending them. Haven't seen any other club try a stunt like that. FAIL of the highest order. Only Crow "supporters" could do it.

After reading this thread I summarised that Triple M listeners are as stupid as Ryan O'Keefe.
