Mate, tonight must have really cut you up bad going into the game favourites and having 2 more bench players.
I think I enjoy the way you're feeling even more than I enjoy the win or the $114 I made from the game.
Karma strikes yet again my friend, you should think about that!. ;)

I would have thought that picture sums up the opinions of North supporters on this thread.

1/ Is not at Essendon
2/ How could he return mid season?

1) He trains with essendon.... conracted to essendon only plays for Bendigo
2) Footy contracts arent worth the paper they are written on for interstate transfers

How could he be contracted to Essendon?...he would have to be on their list which he isnt...NFI

Matty is playing great footy, more than happy he is at the Roos...paying $67- for the Rising Star, mght have a dollar or two on him at this price...there is a great article on the Roos website about him if North fans are interested

don't think he is contracted by essendon but bendigo is linked with essendon and no that they are watching him closely along with cloke with possibility of being offered a contract next year

Bendigo are just an Essendon puppet

Bendigo coach Matthew Knights' wages are paid by Essendon...... Knights actually spends most of his time at Windy Hill (where Skipworth trains)

Regardless as to who he is contracted to... at least Skipowrth's recovery from surgery will at an AFL club.

FROM ESSENDON FC WEBSITE

Horror afternoon for Bendigo
Sunday, 29 April 2007
It wasn't a great day for the Bendigo Bombers yesterday. Not only did they get beaten by Port Melbourne but they suffered significant injuries and also have two players on report. Bendigo were soundly beaten going down by 40-points and lost Adam Ramanauskas (groin), Haydn Skipworth (patella tendon), Leroy Jetta (groin) and Justin Maddern (concussion).

The final score was Port Melbourne 15.14 (104) v Bendigo 9.10 (64). Goals for Bendigo - Lonergan 2, Rosa, Riemers, Maddern, Plummer, Houli, Jolley, Atkinson.

Skipworth is the most serious of the injuries and he is out for the season with a snapped patella tendon. He was entering hospital today to have the injury repaired. It was a devastating blow for the former Adelaide midfielder who was desperate to earn himself another crack at AFL football.

Anyone who saw Skipworths effort last year in the Prelim Final last year with the Campbell insident will have zero thoughts about his wellfare.

Harsh...YES, fair...Yes.

Oh by the way Matty Campbell, how is the AFL going???? Well done lad!

When I looked last night Campbell was starring in the AFL where Skipworth was a has been playing nowhere thanks to his great idea to abandon his own club which he showed no respect for.
