Mmmmm the Crows haven't been that convincing at home. Obviously you need to have a closer look at the record at AAMI Stadium this year. 9 wins, 1 loss, average winning margin 5 goals including a 50 point win over Geelong and a 49 point win over West Coast. But yeah I guess that's not impressive at all. :? :? :?

And under a goal to Essendon minus 12 first team starters and playing with only 2 on the bench for half the game ;)

Sounds like sooking and whining to me Jim, roll out the violin mate

Not at all, the good sides thrash us though ;)

And whats Essendons home game wins and losses? Not so inspiring either really are they!

Don't really care about the rest.

West Coast and Essendon to get kicked out the first week of the finals.
Sydney and Freo to get kicked out the 2nd week
Adelaide and Geelong or Hawthorn to get kicked out 3rd
Geelong or Hawthorn to beat Collingwood in GF.

Prelim between Hawthorn and Geelong to close to call, pity they wont face off in the GF.

So you think the Woods will knock off Sydney this week?

I did mine last week so obviously West Coast, Geelong, Freo & Hawthorn are incorrect on how I see things now.

Yeah I dont rate Sydney, I have changed my tip tonight though with Geelongs outs.

Looks like St Kilda will have to win last 4 to sneak into the eight:

Melb (mcg)
Geelong (d)
GWS (d)
Carlton (d)

Not a bad draw. If we can get over Geelong, who knows? Narrow losses will most likely come back to haunt us though. Could finish the year with a % of 125+ and miss finals.

The only one I'm not sure about is Geelong.
I might be the only one in Australia, but I'm still not convinced they're back.

Tough games against West Coast, St Kilda and Sydney coming up.
But if they do win one of those they'll be in.

Yeah, they're struggling at the moment

If they knock off West Coast in Perth I'll be a believer too.
I actually want them to be a true contender.
Will make for a great finals series if the Cats are around the mark.

2 against Port, 1 against GWS, just got over Essendon and St Kilda, had good last qtrs to beat Richmond and Bulldogs by around 3 goals.
The 2 games you mention were impressive but I can see where he is coming from.

Bulldogs by 18,
St Kilda 4 points
Richmond 19
Ess 4 points.

Your good wins were against Geelong when they were playing horrible footy and a injury ravaged West Coast. So not at the top of their game.

Richmond were in front most of the day, so were Essendon, and 1 min more St Kilda were home. Neither of these sides will play finals. This is what I mean by less then convincing.

my ladder came out

Adelaide 18 wins
Collingwood 18 wins
Hawthorn 17 wins
Sydney 16 wins
West Coast 14 wins
Geelong 14 wins
North Melbourne 14 wins
Fremantle13 wins

Essendon 13 wins
St Kilda 13 wins

1 win an percentage between 5th and 10th. and two teams missing out with 13 wins, probably the first time that has happened.

With teams needing 6 day break going in to finals the first week of finals will be

Adelaide Vs Sydney Friday night at AAMI
West Coast Vs Fremantle Saturday afternoon at Subiaco
Collingwood vs Hawthorn Saturday night at MCG
Geelong vs North Melbourne sunday afternoon at MCG or Etihad

Couple things Joker, Saints if end on 13 wins will be at the head of those on 13 with a much better percentage. currently 8 or 9 % in front and as they need to win every game their % wont drop and Freo/Ess wont win by enough to make iy up given you think they have 2 more losses.
No final in Perth on Saturday, some rugby game on, thats why Hawks v WCE friday night R23, the Eagles absolute certainty to play friday night in 1st week of finalsd if they are playing at home

Ladder Predictors

If the saints finish 8 with their percentage like you say , the game will be Sunday. Not Friday night. As the saints play on Sunday in round 23.
And that would probably change the whole fixture for the first week.

Interesting ladder with Collingwood having no Dane Swan the next 2 weeks.
I regretfully see 2 losses V Sydney & Nth Melb coming up.

I disagree about Swan, id play him. He would have a point to prove and come out firing. There are better ways to punish him without hurting the team.

buckley said they made a pact at the start of the year regarding alcohol and he broke the pact so he has to cop it your right though jim this hurts the whole side not just him but they have to be seen to be making a statement i guess....

so would the pies have done it if it was a preliminary final or the gf coming up i think not this may well come back and bite them on the arse even in regards to a top 4 spot if they lose the next 2 without him i suppose we will know in a few weeks time hey....

What a stupid pact to make.

Agree totally with you Jim, i'd fine him $50,000 instead.
Every week he's getting 35+ touches, averaging 39 the last 7 weeks & thats not going to hurt Collingwood?

The pact was only recently made as they move towards the finals.

I think it's overkill, maybe if it was a Thursday night but a Sunday night, come on, he still attended training in the morning, lucky he didn't get pulled over on his way in though by the sounds of it.
