Would think the Cats would also have to offer up a player aswell.

Is the compensation pick for Ablett a first round draft pick?? If so, Boak is not worth more than that.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

If so, Port would pick up a player in their best 22 plus (hopefully for their sake) a gun kid.

For a bloke that is a good footballer, but really hasn't delivered much for them in the last 2 years.

Far from the end of the world for Port if he goes. (or stays)

Would look real good in the royal blue and white vertical stripes.......
Ziebs, spitter and co would welcome him to our midfield with open arms. B-)

I dont think we'd need him at the moment. Watching his "highlights" Port put on Youtube for his 100th game, he got lucky with a few munted kicks and took an uncontested chesty....thats the BEST things he did in his first 100 games. I say we stick with what we have. Let Geelong top up their ageing midfield. We've got ours set for a decade.

prefer the roos to really push for a big strong defender
believe we need that more than another midfielder
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one

One of the few players that will get more money if he stays at his current club. Give him a solid midfield to work with and he will be worth it.

The way I see his reasoning is this way he can get $600k a year for the next 2 years, and then demand the big bucks once he's a Free Agent. If he left now and went to a team only able to pay $500k, he'd be earning $500k a year for the next 5 years, and may never become a Free Agent.
