Request and he shall receive:

"One late change to the Carlton side for tonight's match against the Tigers, with Nick Duigan replacing Kane Lucas in the 22."

As posted elsewhere;

Random offerings;

Conditions played a massive part in tonights game (skills wise).

Our side reminded me of a side that played pre season a few years back - some experienced guys getting a run under their belt PLUS looking at a few blokes. I haven't seen the past three games so hadn't seen Casboult, Bell and Frazer. LIKED Bell a lot.

Do we actually have a forward line or is Eddie our "go to forward"?

After 1/4 time I was pretty positive we could stop them from scoring. Having their 5 goals come from midfielders made me even more confident we could stop that rot. What I did expect was them still finding other avenues to goal, and us stopping at the start of the third and fourth quarters.

Umpiring. My god.... LEAVE the players to play FFS. Completely over officiated.

McLean's "on purpose" vs the last quarter effort from the Richmond bloke (didn't catch who it was).... what was the difference?

McLean - 1000 apologies. You've been terrific for us the past month or so now you're injury free. I'd like to see you stay fit for when a lot of the other players come back.

Joseph, too "player concious".

Gibbs looks like he's trying to stand up which is great.

Carrots, well done on 150. By christ we missed him.

Kruezer, maybe he is our go to ruckman?

Tom Bell looks the goods.

Great pressure by Garlett, was a lot higher up the ground this week.

Armfield, beat Newman (who is carp) but is Richmonds captain.

Playing wise, I still think he's the least effective captain in the AFL. Someone obviously rates him. I don't.

Some of your seconds should replace some of your first choice players. Bell looks to be a good sized midfielder. I like the look of Casibolt. Good sized forward.

Plenty of side this year that the game is starting to go past him, or soon will if it hasn't already.. He's been a good skipper for the Tiges imho through A period when they didn't have many options, but that looks to be changing.

Agree about the calls on Bell, looks promising and has great size and attack on the body.

Nathan Brown must still love him, just saw his analysis on footy show of the Armfield goal late in the game where Armfield was all on his own 50m out from goal 20m from a stoppage. Brown said Newman was off the ground and didnt know who was on him but the vision after the ball goes through for a goal clearly shows Newman on his own in the goal square. With leadership like this its clear why Richmond cant win the close ones.

You're right. Some players having a massive go. Casboult looks the goods and is supposed to be a chf. Mitchell is similar in size and ability to him also and can play FF. These guys are the reason why I hope we don't go for cloke who is obviously a good player but will be paid overs maybe at the expense of the aforementioned youngsters

Afl.com.au know something we don't??

CARLTON defender Aaron Joseph looked to the sky ever so briefly when Brock McLean's mongrel punt sailed through to secure the four-point win over Richmond at the MCG on Saturday night.

Maybe the bloke upstairs was a Carlton fan, he thought to himself.

"The footy gods looked after us and it just turned out well," he said after the match in the buzzing Carlton rooms, of the win that keeps the Blues in the finals hunt for 2013.

Thats right turbo you have the key forwards there to develop why not start. When waite comes back he will be a bonus but you have some good young big players there.

Carlton Season 2012

Looks like Waite, Simpson, Robinson and walker are likely inclusions this week. Starting to look like the team we have early in the season. Just need Judd back now...

I would persist with Levi and not play Waite. If i was Carlton, i would make him play at least a month of consistent football in the VFL. He seriously has let the club down with his injuries so much that i wouldn't risk him in the next 5 weeks when your fighting for a finals spot.

How Waite, with his Injury history is contracted until the end of 2014 i seriously have no idea though. Seems a very strange decision by Carlton. Robinson, Simpson and Walker are huge inclusions for the Blues though.
