Carlton Season 2012

Postby the joker » Thu Jul 12, 2012 10:36 pm

He couldn't walk to another club for nothing. He hasn't been at the Blues for 8 years. He would have had to be traded or took his luck in the pre season draft

Yep, I was more meaning he could leave the club for virtually nothing if he wanted. At least with a contract, worst case scenario we kept him.

Harvey 17 touches so far as the Blues get routed.
Petrie subbed off at Q3 after a lazy seven goals.

At least Juddy is clearly at his best.

When was the last time Lindsay Thomas kicked 3.0

Also I admit I didn't watch the whole game but every time I looked at the screen North were given a free kick in front of goal.

Way more possessions but ineffective. North accurate, we weren't.
Reckon rattens future is still in doubt. Need a key forward to kick to. Example = Petrie tonight even though he was gifted a few early.
Judd looked good tonight and is over the injury niggle he had a few weeks ago.
Could win the next 4. Sydney is deemed
a hard prospect but I reckon even though they are top won't win the flag. Good to see Murphy back, have missed him. Also the horror run with injuries continues. Our season has been determined massively by this

Random offerings;

Walker hurt our rotations by going off early.

I think the coaching staff made a blue by not playing Henderson up forward, he was the only one who presented and even looked like taking a mark.

Robbo looked lost last night.

Murphy - great to see him back but FFS, you HAVE to kick goals from directly in front. Run at the goals and swing your leg through the middle of the sticks, drop the ball straight and you take all the elements out of the equation.

Another embaressing loss

thought Judd was WAP again with his wing tackle

How did Duigan play?

Kruezer would be close to the most over rated player in the afl. Jamieson not far behind

Dont agree about Kruezer, he is a ruckman pure and simple and not a forward, rucking should be his only duty.
Jamison gets carved up quite a bit but he usually gets stuck on the oppositions tallest forward, if Carlton had a decent sized backman then Jamison would be a more than useful defender on a secondary forward.

Yes they had a night out with the frees ( Petrie ) but it aint why they lost, Petrie should kick a 100 getting looked after like that!
I think Rutten is gone. :-h
