Don't forget that this is a Carnival/National Championships year gents, so if you are serious about throwing your hat into the selection ring, start organizing yourself.
Specifically, leave from work, leave pass from the missus, saving a bit of spending money, etc.. Costs will be subsidized by the Association. Exact cost per person is unknown at this stage. Depends how our sponsorship drive goes over the next 5mths. Carnival will be in Melbourne & matches will be held at the Royal Park grounds, which there are 3. Matches are 50 overs per side.
Departure from Adelaide via plane on Boxing Day evening and returning to Adelaide on New Year's Eve. Previously we have travelled back on New Year's Day, but due to finances we'll be coming back on NYE. That may please SWMBO, which in the past has been a roadblock for a few blokes..
Training for the Nat Champs will commence approx 8wks prior (early November). Stay tuned for more info and please sing out if you have any queries.

Re: SA Churches & Community Cricket Association 2012/2013
just a thought.....
when are we going to join other assoc and start saturday and sunday finals ?
we are left behind every year by not giving it a go. IMO
rather than a wash out or heated out one week, we can have the games over in a weekend.

I agree. Doing this will enable us to have more matches during the season as well, which can only be a good thing.

People say they dont believe in conspiracies but i knew one day the safooty illumanti would show itself for the all seeing eye that it is. Cant say i blame them either, 4 or 5 logins maybe you could get away with it at a stretch but 38 is taking it a bit far.
