Fair dinkum what the f..k is this League doing, 8 weeks ago a hard tackle was applied & now we have a report. ( WHAT MAKES IT WORSE THE POOR BLOKE REPORTED GOT A WEEK WITHOUT A HEARING )
It wasn't a King Hit behind the play it was a " TACKLE "
It seems if a brittle player gets hurt in a tackle- bump- hip'n shoulder in Amateur League now, it doesn't matter how long it takes you to get some video evidence your going to be hung.
Typical college team, don't like the hard things in a game of footy. Fair dinkum bloody soft if you ask me.
If i was Portland i'd take it up with the SANFL.
You've seen the footage have you to know it was tackle-bump or hip'n shoulder? I thought the issue was Portland only being advised this week.

to suit my argument you reckon, at least the umpire could plead ignorant if he didnt see it and called play on, this means he has seen the "alleged" incident and only thought it waranted a free kick not a 25m penalty or a yellow card or name in the book.

By the way did i ever have a crack at the club about why we are only hearing about it now ( 8 weeks down the track) NO, just looking for a reason why it has just decided to rear its ugly head.

Because you beat me to posting it! What a bunch of soft cocks! Not surprising Uni up to their old tricks of trying to rub opposition players out for accidents. Uni poofs get everything on video these days(except their players putting their heads over the ball).

Not that there's anything particularly wrong with the conversation at this point, just a reminder that as this case is being heard that no particulars are to be discussed. This includes naming anyone involved.

I've heard it all now. Reported on video evidence for a sling tackle :ymapplause: . Just backs my comment on a different page that too many people involved in this comp think their playing AFL and watching too much TV. you gotta be kidding me.

In the SAAFL justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the League, who investigate charge; and the teams who video tape games, who prosecute everyone else. These are their stories.

Not the Sharpest move by the SAAFL, would be a joke if a bloke is rubbed out 8-10 weeks after an alleged incident.

Aside from that, should be a big day and night out at TTG this Saturday!
Portland have a chance to steady themselves against Eastern Park, not good signs if they go down to a side yet to register a win.
I would expect Flinders Park to leap frog PAOC with a win against them.
Adelaide Uni and Port District will distance themselves from 4th with a win. Uni should get over Iggies and make amends from their round 2 debacle, but a tougher task for PDFC, as it will be tough to get over Walkerville at home.

Yep, Should be a cracker game, starting to develop a nice little rivalry between the 2 teams, Flinders past few weeks have been pretty solid and IMO have the ability to do some damage in the second half of the year

Agree with you there Picca could definately play a big role on where both teams head for the rest of the year. If Flinders win they can push away from relegation zone and still be a possibility for the 5.

They have already pushed away from the relegation zone I think you will find Cash, and are two spots away from it. Their percentage is much healthier than the teams below them (and better than the 3 sides above them too), so I dont think they'll need to worry about relegation this year if they keep their form up. Must win (for both sides really) if they want to play finals, as Walkerville should notch up another win, and push away from the bottom 5.

Old Iggies v Modbury is a big game. Modbury would like their chances, but is a danger game for them. Old Iggies at home are dangerous, especially if Pedlar plays. Why hasn't he been playing the last few weeks? Good chance for Iggies to get a win, and put PAOC under the pump. They look to have been pretty good against Uni on the weekend.

Anyone from Modbury (or TTG) still on these forums? How did Petaringa hold up after so much footy being played on it after so much rain last week?
Inaccurate goal kicking from Portland against Eastern Park, did you leave the roof open Piccachu? That could have been an absolute thumping if you hadve kicked straight.
