Spurs take game one with a good strong win.

Both these series will be fascinating. Can Boston stop LeBron or Wade (or both)? Will Boston spread the load enough to expose Miami's lack of depth? When will Bosh return? What fitness has Allen got? Will Rondo be able to work the magic against a LeBron James or Dwayne Wade defending him? I think Boston will need to be at their best to have a chance. If Miami have Wade and James going near their best it won't matter how good Boston are, Miami will just be too good.

Spurs and OKC I think will be a ripper of a series. Both sides are consistently good, have few worries and are in good form. On the flip side, the players they have are very different. Parker, Manu and Duncan go about it so differently to Durant and Westbrook. The negative for OKC is I don't see San Antonio turning the ball over as much as other sides. That could just prove the difference with OKC not getting those easy points they're so used to. Whatever happens, I don't see too many games being won by more than 5 points.

I still feel Boston will beat the Heat. Whilst the Heat as a team of individuals. Boston has a team of players.

I think Miami will win comfortably. Boston struggled to get over Philly so I just can't see how they are going to stop the Heat.

Miami might have a pair of star individuals but they still work very well as a team especially on defense. This will probably be another defensive slugfest like the Boston-Philly series.

Spurs were pretty rusty and only really played 1 good 1/4. Once they got it going tho they were good enough to erase a 9 point defecit in the last and were up by 10 with 2 mins to go. Surprised OKC didnt go with Ibaka more in the last 1/4. Thought he protected the rim and really altered parker's shots in the first half. Jackson done a great job on Durant in the last also.

Great to see Ginobili show he is still the premiere lefty in the NBA!

Boston Struggled in 2008 to get over teams and used all 7 games to do so. I just don't see Miami beating the Celtics.

Miami with a comfortable win in game 1. James and Wade just too good and the others chipped in where needed. James moves to 22nd for playoff scoring at just 27.

LeBron's 9th season = no rings

Jordan won his 3rd championship in his 9th season.

Jordan wasn't trying to win a championship with spuds like Anderson Varejao and Mo Williams as his main offsiders. No doubt winning championships cements a player's legacy but nobody talks about Robert Horry being better than Karl Malone or Charles Barkley. There's also no doubt in my mind James will get more than one ring. Either way, the "no championship" dig is the only thing the haters have left. Just like when the same people said the same thing about Jordan i plan on just enjoying the game and what they can do on the court.

Spot on there. The haters will always find something to bag a player they dont like about. Not really relevant to basketball but in my opinion Gary Ablett Snr is the greatest footballer i have seen in my lifetime. The only premiership medals in the ablett household belong to his son. It doesnt mean he isnt as good as Jason Dunstall who was lucky enough to win a truck load in the Hawthorn era.

Whether you love him or hate him you have to sit back in awe of what Lebron can do on the court. The man is an absolute freak and anyone who says otherwise well .............

The thing is they are trying to buy a championship. They aren't a team. Just 3 individuals and a bunch of plebs.
