No surprise with Kyrie Irving winning the ROY award

Irving received 117 of 120 possible first-place votes from a nationwide media panel of writers and broadcasters. Irving finished with 592 points, way ahead of Minnesota's Ricky Rubio (170) and Denver's Kenneth Faried (129).

Faried, San Antonio's Kawhi Leonard and New York's Iman Shumpert received the other first-place votes, denying Irving's bid to become the fourth player to win the award unanimously.

OKC Thunder scored 9 points to nil in the final two minutes to overcome a 7 point deficit to the Lakers, final score 77-75.

OKC now 2-0 up in the series and looking mighty good!

Also on Bledsoe. Big fan and I was when he was in college. Bad thing for him was he was coming off the bench behind Wall. That let him slide to later in the draft. IMO the second best, and almost the best, PG in the draft.

Sorry John. Get better please.

Blake was wide open so it wasn't the worst play. Kobe didn't look very happy when he missed though.

Also saw this elsewhere "Kobe went 0-5 with 2 TOs in the last 5:31" not a good end to the game for him so maybe he was mad at himself. The Lakers really should have won that game, going to be tough now.

Thunder 77-75 Lakers (OKC lead series 2-0)
- Thunder scored the last nine points of the game
- Why did the Lakers not take a shot from inside 16ft within the last two minutes???
- Blake was WIDE OPEN and it was the right play...he just missed the shot. Kobe was double teamed and NOT open, plus they had no time outs left
- Kobe in the last six minutes
FG 0/5
3pt FG 0/2
Turnovers 1
- Lakers were 2/15 from three point land (including 0/6 Kobe, 1/5 Blake)
- Kobe was 9/25FG and had only 4 assists
- Is Sessions a success?? only 24 min 1/3FG, 2 points 0 assists
- Serge Ibaka blocked 7 shots
- Durant was 9/15FG for 22pts to go with 7 boards, 5 assists

Celtics 107-91 (Boston lead series 2-1)
- Boston had three players with 20/10
Garnett 27 points/13 rebounds
Rondo 23 points/14 assists
Pierce 24 points/12 rebounds

Part of choosing Kobe under pressure is actually him GETTING the ball which with the play drawn up, was hardly going to happen. Two seven footers as a squeeze screen, and then run away from the in-bounds? Artest had about 1 second to decide by that time, and Blake WAS wide open (and hit 5/6 a few games before. IT was the right pass, and he was wide open and caught Westbrook napping. Blake bailed Westbrook out.

Pacers smack the Heat 95-76, Roy Hibbert was a monster for Indy who now have a 2-1 lead.

Great performance by Indy again. Hopefully they can win Game 4 and edge the Heat closer to getting knocked out in the second round.

Spurs are still destroying the teams they play, should be a great match up against OKC.
