Also they placed an add in the paper looking for players. I agree with you bulldog, long year for them. Probably a long couple of years for them.

Very disappointing for us on the weekend. Para Hills are going to be hard to beat at The Paddocks, have a very physically strong side, and they force a lot of stoppages on the smallish oval, with which they're big bodies tend to win most of. Will be a very interesting game this week with Pooraka v Para Hills at Lindblom Park.

Gday guys, im back from a couple of weeks away. Couldnt believe the scoreline from your game Pag, would have thought that it was wet !!! Do you reckon your blokes will be better suited to your larger, home ground next time ? Is Para Hills oval small ? Havent played there for a while, would it be similar to Portland ? I would still lean towards Pooraka this week - they looked good in the first round.

Very small oval. And so are the changerooms.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

North Haven will definately be hard to beat.

I think the only two teams that will push them is Pooraka and Portland.

I havent seen Anthony Lee or Shaun Andersons name in the paper for North Haven, are they playing? Demps maybe you can confirm if you are still on the forum.

I agree ROH, Haven will be hard to beat. It is way too early to be calling them unbeatable - beating Rosewater by 30 goals is par for the course so far this year. I think Pooraka at home will be one of the years tougher assignments for all teams.
I think Demps jumped off this forum when Footymad started revealing his match payments - he hasnt been sited since!!!

I am sure he isnt the only one to leave the forum because of FootyMad!!!!
Did you read the thoughts from the other fella a few weeks ago??? I am certain he isnt in the FootyMad fan club.

Demps earnt his money on the weekend i am sure. Maybe he has come back to the forum as someone else, reincarnated.

Felch is seems as though Big Bad Bustling Kevin Mills stood up on the weekend. Has his work rated increased over the last few years?

I did tell Demps not to include his REAL name in his user name - maybe he took my advice.
For the record, i like you Footymad, even if some others dont.
Mills played well on the weekend, went into the game under an injury cloud but stood up when needed. Still has a tendency to let his concentration wander - dont think you will ever fix that - but is a big, strong lad and can take a great pack mark. Just lets himself down by dropping easy marks sometimes. Dont think his workrate has improved, he will always be hot and cold.
On another note, there is a young bloke dominating the middle at the moment for Portland's reserves, had to look twice a few times on the weekend, looked very similar to his older brother at stages. Probably has a better defensive game than big bro though

Where abouts are you playing Demps?? Are you playing through the midfield, or are you down back and being the designated kicker, when i point goes through like you were many years ago whilst also playing in black and white.

Playing through the middle & changing up forward :) I try not to get that far in the backline these days to kick out from fullback :D

Robbo kicked 10 on the weekend

Demps who is Robbo???

Felch i did hear there was a likeness with a former A Grade centremen at Portland, and the current B grade Portland centreman. He probably is a bit more defensive, but you have a very short memory if you think he is as creative as the older brother.
