Carlton Season 2012

On a more serious note. We cannot think that beating essendon will be easy. I reckon despite the injuries they have they will fire up to play us as one of the arch enemies. Looking forward to the contest on Saturday. The early season match up between these teams have been crackers in recent years. Hope this is no exception

They play 4 days later, and I reckon they'll have a eye on the Anzac Day clash. Not to say they'll take it easy and lay down, but if the Blues get out to a 3 - 4 goal lead early then I think she'll blow out.

The Bombers looked rooted after the win over the Coasters, they got delayed in getting home, and have a few injuries.

Then again knowing the history between the 2 sides I'm tipping Essendon

Armfield out with a knee. Brock in for perhaps his last real shot at afl. Vfl form has warranted a return apparently. Hope he does well cos he is an expensive vfl player

Turbo, Carlton will pump Essendon, even if Essendon had a full list to choose from. They are an average team at best. If the bookies thought otherwise you'd be getting more than $1.40 to win by +25.

Yes you are spot on, even at full strength we are a 8th-12th side, Carlton are top 4 material.

Carlisle out (soreness)....BULLSHIT!

He's out due to Walker not playing and he wanted his head used as a launching pad again...

Watched him last week in the vfl and he didnt stand out IMO (The stats looked good). His skills are average at best. Def one of his last chances you'd think.

Still reckon it was one of the most overrated marks of all time. No doubting it was good and the agility shown was great. But the uproar when Krakeour got named MOTY was a joke IMO. Krakeours mark was far far superior.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Krak's mark was good. Natanui's was better. Walkers is one of the best I've seen. Certainly in the top 5. Its all subjective anyway and a part of our game I love.

We were lucky to get that close to them in the end. We were shocking by hand and foot. The Dons seemed to have numbers everywhere and we seemed as poor as Collingwood were last week.

And like the bookies I know nothing! Essendon not flying under the radar anymore. They made Carlton look second rate. Maybe Carlton were getting caught up in the Premiership favourtism hype (like I was).

Certainly looked like it. It was a reality check that they are not invincible. Very tricky game next Friday in Fremantle.
