Sh*t!!!. Bloke just tells me SPOC beat Walkies by 10 goals but he did admit that he couldn't work out whether SPOC had significantly improved from 2011 or Walkies had fallen off the wagon.

Time will tell, still 22 weeks of the season to go.

Two posts up, Footy Follower predicts the round 1 winners. Interestingly, I reckon all those winners will be in the top 5 at the end of round 18. Just the order would be open for debate

Correct, SPOC did give Walkies a bit of a touch up on the weekend, but I can definitely say that SPOC have significantly improved from last year. They have obviously recruited well and were very very sharp with their skills for this early in the year. And lets not forget SPOC actually won the division 2 flag last year.
They were very accurate in front of goals, at one stage I think they were 18.3
The reserves game was a lot closer with SPOC getting over the line with a kick after the siren. This further highlighted the fact that SPOC have improved as Walkies 2's one all three games last year when the sides met.
No doubt SPOC will be competitive in div 1 this year.

How many were missing from Gaza?

I know someone from Gaza looking for players to fill their C grade side for the trial so they must have had a few out up the line......

Could of been they just struggled to get players for their C's due to the 10.15 start

who are the best individual players in div 2?
as in if you could steal 1 or 2 blokes from each team who would they be?

Beeching and Joncock come to mind for PtD,
O'hara and FP
Davey and modbury

for example
beards dont kill people, people with beards kill people

Played last week and named this week in the reserves. Wether he stays or not is a different matter altogether.

How many points do Port districts get allocated?
Surely with all the players they have as ins this year they would be over there quota.
Who monitors there allocation each week or is done on a trust basis.

It has been said on here before UNCLE SAM alot of the INS for districts are former players returning, thus attracting zero points and usually a few U18's will play, attracting -1pt so the A's should be under taking that into consideration.

I'm sure those in the know can qualify it, but from what I understand it is up to the clubs to declare pts. The league has read the riot act tho with severe penalties for those abusing the system. Be a shame if you missed Sept action by fudging.

Yea it's on a trust basis you idiot. PDFC have 23 points to play with anyway after their application for more points. Pretty handy cos they just signed Tredrea and Barry Hall.

Actually, after a phone call to the SAAFL during the week it was confirmed it is on trust basis, trust that each club will enter the correct points value for their players onto SportingPulse. From what I understand there are some clubs who are under the microscope though and Districts are one of them.

So who's the idiot now, idiot

Lutz I just asked a question of how the points are managed in SAAFL.Your comment is pathetic and shows your ignorance.
Surely Port Districts have not been given 8 points over the so called max points of 15.
What a mockery the SAAFL are making of the points system if this is the case.
The CFB should step in and so no teams should be above 15 unless they are Adel Uni or the old scholars sides.

And which club wants to be first to try on the league ruling about playing someone under the incorrect points allocation?
It will cost that club the 2 premiership points if they happen to win is my understanding if the league stands by what they have said.
