Carlton must have some contest amongst themselves for the worst haircuts.

I'm sure Ratten considers it team building.

Certainly made an effort at Carlton, but one man, Jack Reiwoldt tipped the scales in Richmonds favour on the back of the Maric mullet.

To be honest mate it is much more interesting and will impact on the AFL this season far more than Richmond will.

Gibbs and Curnow were nightmares in their own right.

Loved Mitch Robinson's signal with the little legs and willy poking out the middle.

Seven replayed it about 8 times without knowing I reckon.

In his match report on AFL website - 'Blues Belt Lions' - Michael Whiting says:

"..After the Lions led by two points at the first change, the Blues flexed their premiership muscles.. "

I'd hardly have thought that early season victories over Richmond and Brisbane is a basis for suggesting Carlton are premiership fancies!! :o

I agree that Carlton should be pushing for that top 4. They will need to get wins against Collingwood, Geelong and Hawthorn. I didnt put the Eagles because we are awesome and your all playing for second lol :D Well heres hoping anyway!

It's for the boys in the indigenous group AYM - which is a group of boys from the Northern Territory, with Joey Anderson as one of its members. Mitch spends half the off season up in Darwin and around Arnhem Land fishing, shooting etc etc. Is best mates with the indigenous lads at Carlton Yazz, Bettsy & Jeffy

I'd swap our draw for Carlton's in a heartbeat. Round one against the Tiggers and then Brisbane coming off a five day break. Having said that though you can only beat who is put in front of you and the Blues have done that. They get the Pies coming off a shorter break next week as well. I'll be on the Blues next week for my tips because these short breaks are a real factor during the early rounds of the season and the Blues haven't claimed a big scalp for a while. They'll be out to make a statement.

BTW - Amazing stuff from Eddie Betts. Loved Comettis comment about the 'parachute pants helping to slow his descent' ha ha. His second grab was as Bruce might say, special. I don't recall seeing Eddie crash a pack before.

regard,

Can't wait for this week against Collingwood, two great midfields going head to head...

Judd just easing himself in nicely, quiet start against the Tigers and good game against Brisbane, now against Collingwood should be a real test for him and Murphy against probably the best midfielders in the game and the blues are due to get a win against one of the big "4" clubs...

Reckon the Blues might get up this week, Collingwood don't look like there up and running 100% yet...
