What did he say?

Cut a long story short he said this was mentioned in a private conversation and no one in his position would be stupid enough to talk about this issue with mallace intended and it was worded incorrectly. But instead of talking to the bloke and setting him straight and educating him the AFL hung him out to dry which is disgusting.

That's fine but that's not where this debate was going. Her grilling him and not listening to him is far from the sanctuary of the MFS in which Mifsud appeared in a pre-record and is far different from the interview Rendell had with a 'mate' as was suggested earlier in the conversation.

Garry Lyon had to read out some official clarification (directed towards Demetriou) on last night's Footy Classified in regards to Rendell's appearance on the show.

The statement that Gary Lyon read out on FC last night was an affirmation that the AFL Administration (Andrew Demetriou) did not put any pressure on the Crows to sack Matt Rendell. It stems from the previous week's show when Grant Thomas dis-agreed with Caroline Wilson on this point. Thomas was adamant that Demetriou had forced the issue with the Crows......along the lines of what Andrew wants, Andrew gets.

Dear oh dear oh dear. I'm done over with this, you couldn't script it. What a farce, a disgrace and another kick in the guts for Rendell. In the light of this information I think the AFC need to ring AFL House and tell them that they now have no confidence in Jason Mifsud, in his past dealings with the club and with this in mind they will be approaching Matt Rendell to take up a new recruiting role with the club...... but I doubt this will happen. I'd also send a bill to the AFL for reimbursement for having to pay out Rendells contract..... But I doubt that will happen also.
