Golden state have given themselves a chance at contending in the next 3-4 seasons IMHO. Bogut gives any side a strong inside presense while they now don't really have too many weaknesses. Hopefully they get something good in the draft (I sort of hope they do poorly from here on and get a decent lottery pick) to compliment those other pieces.

Tragic.

Would have been a fantastic player if not for an absolute horror run of injuries. As for Hasheem Thabeet, he'll probably go down as the biggest draft bust of all time.

Yeah, not too many players average more boards than points, especially Number 2 draft picks

Fun little bit of trivia, Manute Bol averaged more blocks (3.3) than points (2.6) over his 10 year NBA career.

Looks like the Bulls are going to lose to Portland at home. Rose isn't playing again but it's been a terrible final quarter so far.

Good win by the Knicks today, beat Indiana 115-100 after leading by 30 at end of 3rd.
Got some minutes into the bench in the last.

Lakers went down to Utah. At one point Kobe was 1/10, Bynum 9/10 and Gasol 6/8. Instead of doing the team thing and passing more to his dominating big men Kobe kept jacking up shots and finished with 3/20!

Off the top of my head I can think of at least 7-8 games Kobe has single handedly cost the Lakers this season. In one game he missed more shots than Gasol & Bynum combined attempted!

He's always been a chucker but having Shaq masked that (over those 8 years together the Lakers actually had a better W/L record when Kobe was out), he kept chucking for a few years after Shaq left too and then when they got Gasol he had to pull his head in and won a couple of championships.

With Phil gone now he's gone back to being the coach killing chucker he was under Rudy T.

Exactly. Then he hits a couple and everyone thinks he's a hero. Shooting .435 and he's trying to convince everyone it's everyone else's fault and the Lakers need to fix the rest of the team. He's not about winning, he's about being the #1 player on a winning team. Jordan was never in that position, but I reckon he'd have stepped back and been the #2 player if he needed to for more championships. Shaq did it and he was supposed to be the biggest ego on the planet!

I know I bag the guy a lot, but he's a heck of a player. Just frustrates me how he goes about it sometimes. Ok, most of the time. ;)

First game of the year against Chicago he had the final shot and tried to take on Deng, Noah and Brewer I think it was when he had two players open. Selfish player

A 'coach killing chucker' that surely would be close to front runner for MVP
