no matter how you sugar coat his culture, past experiences and difficulties in adjusting to his new AFL lifestyle, doing what he is alleged to do is disgraceful and is no way acceptable in any civilised society.

The term 'star' is used far too loosely, I was listening to the sport news on the radio this morning and the news reader explained that former Hawks 'star' Brent Renouf will play for the Power this weekend. I thought f**k off in no way is Brent Ronouf a star, a good ruckman but definitely not a star.

I've heard a story or two. Almost like something from another universe and definitely not something you'd expect to be happening in Australia.

The additional pressure of a massive family/community feud and the expectation on him to help them as well as be exposed to completely foreign things as simple as the beach and a gym its amazing he has survived this long in the big smoke.

Well said Footy Smart.
I thought the exact same thing when I read the article and then posted the link.

Yeah I have pressures in my life, and i bet most other people do...im not gonna take a chunk outta someones head. I bet if a white guy from a lower socio-economic background did it most people would want the "feral" locked up...

In no way is this racist either, because I judge people on their actions, not the colour of their skin...

If this happened it would stay behind closed doors and we'd be none the wiser. Different kettle of fish
