Lin won't get better.

He's currently playing the best basketball he can, and will ever do.

Regardless of what people think of Melo, he's a far better player than Lin.
Lin has had the luxury of having the ball in his hands for a LOT of the possession time.

With Melo and Amare having the lions share - I'd like to see how effective Lin is with the ball for four seconds.

Whilst the Cinderella story is nice (No, I won't use that pun), the hype and "mania" at the moment is far higher than the kid's talent.

Lin may not get better but at least we are winning.
Whenever Melo plays we look ordinary, way too selfish.
I just want us to win some bloody games.
Give the kid a go he may well turn out just fine

He'll never be one of the players we look at as MVP type players. But if this is as good as he gets then the Knicks have a fair player if he produces consistently over time. My worry for the kid is that this is a long, long way over what he can produce long term and that in 2 years time he's been traded a couple of times and is over in Europe trying to "rebuild his game".

It will be interesting to see if he is still playing this well come the end of the season. Teams will have already started to prepare for him better so he could find things a bit tougher, will be a good test for him.

He still put up good numbers against the Nets but Deron went mental - he said he was sick of seeing tweets like "Lin destroyed Deron Williams" after Lin's breakout game and he had this one circled in the calendar.

He probably wont ever be a superstar or MVP but its the best we have so we have to work with it. None of the so called big guns is ever going to come to the Knicks so we just have to make do, ill be happy if Lin is still putting up similar figures at the end of season. We havnt had much to cheer for over the years so Lin has been a breath of fresh air around a stale club and he is actually made watching the Knicks enjoyable again.

Dunk contest another fizzer, no one wants to see no names who cant get on the floor during season in the dunk contest. They all do the same dunks now anyway. Time to put it away for a year or two to get interest back and hopefully "real" players will be in it.
