Selwood should get the same penalty as Headland. I don't blame Des for hitting selwood if anything Des should have knocked his block off and got his money's worth. West Coast at the moment seem to be a rule to themselves and don't care about other's or the AFL. IMO i feel that the AFL should come down on West Coast and pull them into line.

Pity it wasn't Brett Burton involved instead of Headland,Birdman had no problem dobbing Montgomery in a few years back,and Headland should tell the tribunal just what did transpire.Not that they can do anything,of course.

Put Selwood and Braun's brain together and it would struggle to be the size of the average Collingwood fan.

Of course selwood shouldnt have said it but you would like to think headland would be big enough to control himself til he got a better chance to knock his block off (like he deserved to)... if he had wacked him in a contest he may have had a chance to get of or maybe a lesser penalty... instead des fell for it and has to cop his penalty... how many other things like this are said during a game of footy and we dont hear about them because the recipient doesnt react like headland... will be interesting to see what the penalty selwood will get...

Both the NHL & the NRL have been getting the biggest crowds in there history recently since they let it go a bit more

That's because Ice Hockey and League is shit. They don't draw squat and had to figure out some way of getting bums on seats and if you increase the biffo, that's exactly what you get.

Aussie Rules could do with more physicality but in the contest, not off the ball.
