i give 3/10

Lyrics

Well there's a big big sound
From the West of the town
It's the sound of the mighty GIANTS

You feel the ground A-SHAKING
The other teams are quaking
In their boots before the GIANTS

We take the longest strides
And the highest leap
We're stronger than the rest

We're the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS
We're the biggest and the best

And we will never surrender
We'll fight until the end
We're greater than the rest

I've heard worse ... at least they've tried to keep it traditional and have tried to make it sound 'old school'.

Its sounds pretty "flambouyant" at the moment, but if you image what itll sound like with the players yelling it along with the "OOH OOH!" in between verses, I reckon itll sound pretty good. Cant wait til 2016 to hear them sing it... ;)

Should just go with the Benny Hill theme for the first season I reckon, pipe it over general play and/or any vision of Sheeds in the coaches box.

Or just have them run out to the sound of a Car commercial.

It's a bit silly having a club song, the official recorded version of which sounds like something from the 1930's when the team was founded in 2010/11.

That's one good thing about West Coast's and Fremantle's songs. At least the music and words are reflective of the era in which the clubs came into existence.

as far as newbie songs go it isn't the worst. Freo still stinks it up as far as I'm concerned.

I'm one in the minority that thinks that putting new words to an old theme is great. All the 'old' teams have done it so why not the new teams as well? My 2 cents.

Well I reckon a club with that much money should have spent more than four cents.
