I think he means the PAC coach could be on the hunt for some quality recruits through the West Adelaide program - mind you, we got a few ex-westies lads to our country club last year and 1 ended up playing B grade. Hope they have plenty of money though - ex league club players don't come cheap no matter how good they are

fair enough. getting blokes from ressies always comes with risks. you get a lot of spuds playing ressies and sure they are fit but a lot of them are ordinary footy players when they have too think for themselves.

sounds like he's closer to the scenes than what he was originally letting on. I hear there are a few players concerned the new coach is not a real "reds man"

not sure who youve heard that from?? everyone who has actually met the bloke and been to training seems very up beat about Walshy and his direction. would love to know who told you otherwise.

hearing Portland might be sneaking under the radar and picking up blokes and everyone been very quiet. Only 2 gone which have been easily replaced. One gone to henley and the other took easy option and playing D5. Being a bit sneaky and not tellin anyone which is unlike them

yeh very handy Half Forward. not a massive body but rarely drops the ball and has a great competative streak. would certainly be a loss IF he leaves.

Only 2 players of any sort of note gone with any others just being lower grade players or b grade types is what im told. One to henley and the other just deciding on the easy kick in D5. Not sure you are meant to no who they have got lutz.

Teaby surely he deserves a little more recognition from you than simply being a loss. He did win your B&F didn't he?

Would love to know how you easily replace Dave Bird and Tom Lipson. Chris Lipson has also left who played full back for them last year. The only names ive heard thrown around is Paul Christofis and Christain Nurton and they def wont be playing there.

Dave and Tom are huge losses, dont think you will find anyone at Portland say otherwise.
Chris is also a loss but not in the same bracket as the 2 mentioned above.

Knowing Ben and his partner personally, i'm sure his partner wouldnt be thrilled with him flying back every weekend. When I last spoke to him he said he was going to play in Melbourne next year, perhaps things have changed
