ron artest would need to have an amzing year next year if they lose bynum, odom and gasol. would have to get someone else to fill the hole that one of those big guys will leave.

it's 3 players to pick up two players.

and obviously it wouldnt be that simple. there'd be other role players in the mix, draft picks etc..

but the deal swooper mentioned is now all but off, after being all but signed.

turns out the Lakers were a bit worried about giving up two PF's in exchange for a PG. this tells me that the lakers may have thought they were a lot closer to a deal with ORL for Dwight than they actually were.
