West Ireland defeated Na Fianna by a couple of points (sorry but i couldnt tell you the actual score) Once again the catalyst for the Goats turning round a 3 point half time deficit was "Little" Jack Horan who continues his stellar season and would be leading the Association Medal at this point of the year.

Mitcham 3.8 - 17 def Irish Australians 2.4 - 10 for their first win of the season and their first rendition of "Its a grand old flag". Best for the Hawks was John "Manners" Mason who was well supported by Soxy whilst Cathal was easily Irishs' most dangerous looking player in the game.

St.Brendans 14.9 - 51 def Flinders 3.9 - 18. This score is not a misprint. On a dark day for Flinders i was told that this was there biggest loss in their 29 year history :( . Best for the Saints was Benny Newbs whilst the returning Tony "Hubba Bubba" Huebner managed to snag 6 goals. Young Anthony up forward always looked dangerous for the Reds. This scoreline is another great example of why we must revert back to 15 a side Gaelic Football. 13 a side is a horses a** and it does no good for our State moving forward and facilitates farcial scorelines like the one in this game.

Onkas 3.10 - 19 def Port 2.7- 13. This game saw a new record set for fastest goal in State League as Gabe Phillips found the back of the net in the 16 second of the game albeit after a questionable advantage. Apart from the early setback the game was fairly evenly matched especially in the second half. Best for Onkas was the great Gabe along with "Big" Pedds and Samuel "Chewbacca" Janetski recovery from a corkie earlier in the day to be able to play at full capacity was remarkable. Ports boys all battled hard with Sambo and the Rocket leading the way.

On a day for the record books - yesterday also included "the first person ever to be CUT OFF at the bar at St Mary's"! Take a bow John "Butters" O'Leary (Onkas) who looked like he hadn't been home in 3 days and was quite rightly shown a red card by the Gaelic HQ bar staff...!! :drinkers:

Couldn't agree more CT. He had about a weeks worth of night club stamps. However I must say the conversations between him & Tony Conlon was one of the more entertaining that I have heard!

I blame butters for our loss, his advice to me "James you need to, hajshahau@&$/):$:&, five dollars get out here..... Move Todd" .......sound words...

In saying that though, alot of work to be done at flinders hq this week as we are currently the worst team in the comp and need to turn it around ASAP

FON, you were able to understand that much of what he said???

Butters with his strong Irish accent is a difficult man to understand normally, but in that condition, near on impossible... To make matters worse at one stage he started talking to me in Gaelic...

Well it seems as if CT has done a beautiful job of deflecting attention away from the real shocking act of the day and that was his ability to miss the unmissable under!!

Couldn’t help but notice MATT DOECKE behind the bar yesterday. Guessing he was the one that cut-off the incoherent Butters.

I would like to think he advised him that the only person who could get away with buying another drink in that condition was MATT DOECKE…possibly whilst performing one arm pushups.

With the Taints running the bar this Friday night, there is every chance Butters will be barred twice in 2 weeks after the tirade of incoherent abuse the salmon clad Irishman gave me!

It sounded like Sambo but may not have been Sambo when they called him whatever his name was. It was the guy that kicked your last point anyway who had a good game.

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Apparently he is being investigated for possession and intent to supply.... he's been getting his hands on some knock off fake tan that he has been selling to Brighton footy players.

Good to see Whitto has heeded the "Just say no" message.

Some varying storyies going around... I heard that in a similar case to Andrew Bogut in the NBA, that Onka's couldn't provide the insurance money required to provide income protection for Gabe & his big $$$ modeling career.

The ultimatum has been sent out to the flinders playing squad after two insipid weeks. Changes will be made and I'm certain there will not be a repeat performance this week! Beware of the wounded bull!
