yep - cricket is so boring.
Starting to watch some soccer though.

Normally skip past it but i watched the entire Everton vs Man U game other night and loved it.

The way Port played this year,the press assosciated with it,the constant jibes from mates,the comments from people on here,the wife and her continual "Why are you going? They'll only lose" comments.

Miss it? Sure do.

But as people have said, footy going from Feb/Oct is far too much. I like the Spring Racing, I like cricket ( now baseball ) and other summer pursuits, swimming etc so a break isn't a bad thing at all.

Anyway, how many days a year do you pick up the paper to no footy news?

still have plenty off other sports to watch and it actually allows me to do some work.

Not yet - but I'm keeping an eye on how recruitment is going with the Crows and Norwood, and occasionally checking on the Power.

I wasn't until I watched Adelaide United's last two games. ******* terrible team they are! As for real football, it's probably only going to go downhill for the Cats from here so pretty happy with this particular off season.

Im missing playing footy, and cant wait for preseason to start next week. But cant say i miss the AFL, i enjoy watching NFL and College Football more than AFL, mostly due to the lack of North Melbourne games televised here, and the stupid dicks channel 7 call commentators.

I miss it for a start but enjoy watching A-League soccer and Domestic One Day Cricket on Fox but nothing beats the footy season.
