This thing continues to amaze me, accidentally downloaded a couple of .mkv files which only play for me with VLC media on my pc (no go with windows media playe despite having a zillion codecs installed), I transferred them to my phone and they play fine.
God its nice not having to worry about converting stuff and the fact that it plays more formats than most pc media players (or any console/pvr players) is frigging amazing.
Iphone 4s is catching up in some areas but will still be behind the Galaxy S2, glad I got it. Looks like it'll be a wait till the Iphone 5 and even then a Galaxy S3 might surpass it. ;)

read a interesting article the other day about the developers for the android apps. They have been complaining about the copyright laws for the apps. As android is open source a lot of people are copying there apps and there losing money. Some have already stop making apps for the android market as some of the copy are that bad they don't work and is starting to give them a bad name. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Going to get a S2 this weekend. Can't believe my iPhone made it 2 years after some of the drops.

Same. About a month ago I tried to upgrade (at no cost) to the Galaxy S2 but the telco wouldn't let me, said I had to at least wait until December. Thankyou telco

I just like how the Nexus' 5MP camera takes better pictures than the iP4S 8MP camera.

Megapixels mean nothing if the other parts of the camera are shite.

Tempting but I'll still get the S2. Unless of course the phone isn't in stock.

Wow. That Galaxy Nexus does look very sweet!
Weird naming convention though combining the name of its flagship with the cheaper phone to make the new standout.

Nexus wont be here for a few months anyway.

I'll be looking at importing it. Although Kogan are looking at getting it in for me.

I'm having an argument with people over phone memory. They want to use FLAC files which is great. But they use $2 earplugs to listen to them. No point.

Correct. You really need good quality headphones.

Got to say the keis air app is great. Amazing how the galaxy can do more, without being a pain in the arse. As wedgie said earlier, its not a phone for everyone.

Still running the Galaxy S here, and the only complaint I have is that I've only had it about 6 months and the Leader of the Opposition isn't approving the expense request for the S2 (or Nexus when it comes out).
