Brisbane can have the Gazelle... If they have something to offer.

Ready made ruckman versus raw kid? No brainer. The kid will take time to develop. Look at Trent West, he's been at Geelong for years.

1 Year from Ben Hudson and he will retire, then you are back to square 1 again. Brisbane are far from a position to challenge for a flag, so look for a tall in the draft, sign McCauley on a rookie contract or a base contract (save salary there for a start in which you can invest to keep your better players at the club), play leuenberger / McCauley whilst developing the kid. That seems a no brainer to me.

Bit more complex than that. GWS think they have found a loophole but i think the AFL will bop it on the head but soon to see.

Clinton Young may now be an option in a trade with Jack Gunston.

Seriously - how shit is trade week?

Same every year. Heaps of BS flying around, followed by sweet FA all week and then a bit of a spud shuffle at the end.

The complicated deal sounds intriguing.

That article doesn't give us much?

Of course trade week is slow that is what happens when you make it even longer that a week. What a waste of time for the first 3 or 4 days. I think the Mitch Clark deal will hold up a lot of things for the first 4 days.

Were they ever in the market for him?

Believe Crows and Melbourne went hard at him. Heard Melbourne were willing to give away 3 picks for him, they rated him very highly

Crows always knew that gold coast would offer pick 4 and he would go there. Crows were never in the market for him. They were and are after ben Kennedy and or the younger menzell and depending in what they get for gunston and maric they may offer gws there first round selection. If the gws, gold coast trade goes through, gws will have the first 5 picks.

Big loss for Brissy if Jack comes home to SA. Going to be a superstar.

Although Redden will be very handy for the Crows, does this mean they are saying farewell to big Kurt Tippet and surely if this is the case they will get a draft pick aswell as Redden?

Tippett would be the only one that would make me feel better about losing Jack.
Redden for Tippett is a fair trade IMO.
