2002 - Scott Burns lined up Vossy with a big (and legitimate) hit on the forward flank with the game in the balance.
Was a great hit by Burns, who would also get Browny the year after.
But Vossy bounced straight back up and fed a handpass to Black (I think) who kicked a goal to lift the Lions.
Just epitomised both Voss and the Lions during this period.

Dermie didn't get taken off the ground, he pushed them away and went to the forward pocket where not long after he marked and goaled

1990 - Tony Shaw drops to his knees at the final siren. Is my first and everlasting memory of football and not a bad one to have.
2010 - Heath Shaw's smother on Riewoldt at the start of the GF Re-match. It set a standard for his team-mates for the rest of the game.

The whole game in 2007. Was an awesome experience to be there at the game and watch the team you love play the near perfect game and destroy their opposition in the process.

Chappy's goal in 2009 to put us in front in the last quarter. we were sitting right behind it. Taylor's mark with 40 seconds to go from the kick out in the same game when was under so much pressure was awesome too.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

D Jarman's clinic he put on in the last 1/4 of the 97 Grand Final. Left foot snap was something special, and the sealer was amazing. Pack forms, Jarman almost ducks out of the pack not looking, ball ends up in Fudd's hands somehow, swings it across the body, doesn't even take a step to steady. Stright through the sticks. I had tears in my eyes at that stage, my favourite player from SANFL had just won my team thier first AFL Flag!

Yeah that’s the goal I referred to in my earlier post.

Can hear Bruce’s voice now “Jarman…around his body…That will do..that will do!”

For me
1984- Coming from 32 points down to storm home and beat the Hawks
1985- The all in brawl that lasted for 2 minutes and then the Bombers kicking 11.6 in the last qtr to smash the Hawks.
Out of the 6 GF's ive been to, for obvious reasons 1993 and 2000 were standouts. In 93 Dean Wallis smashing Mil Hanna and Longy's goal stood out but 2000 was just an all round dominant game with Hirdy on fire

2004: was renovating the lounge room with Dad ( still lived at home ) and the telly was in the kitchen. Step mum is a mad keen Power supporter, and her screaming was awesome!
Did not get to see 05 or 06 because of work... Two ripper's I have since watched. Leo Barry you star.

2007: Aside from the obvious 119 reasons I loved that game, it was the becoming a super star ( IMO ) of Stevie J, who had been grilled over the pre season for a drinking indiscretion. Cue me to say before the game that he would be BOG... And it happened.

2008: An awesome and committed outfit beat a lesser team.

2009: Mark Blake's premiership medal. After the 2007 omission, that was the biggest thing for me.

2010: Watched the first one at my mates place, a few one-eyed Collingwood supporters there, and after the "bad luck mate, just not quite good enough on the day" the Collywobble gives him a massive right hook. That and Nick Maxwell's face afterwards... The replay I was too pissed don't remember the anthem...

- Leigh Matthews shaking his fists in triumph and relief in the coaching box after we were home and hosed in 2001.

- Jason Akermanis sharking off an Alastair Lynch marking contest and snapping truly to seal the 2002 flag.

- Michael Voss's final word's from the premiership dais in 2003 "Yooooooouuuu Little Beauty"

Still can't believe it happened. Extraordinary.
1998 was weird. Having a smoko at half time outside with my mates and saying how we were done and then back in our seats 10 minutes into 3/4 quarter looking at each other in absolute shock as we were right back in it. I still wonder sometimes if the last half of that game was actually a dream. And again Mr Jarman was the catalyst.

I remember Ron tearing up a couple of years later after a completely different realisation ;)

Some of my fondest memories:

- Jars goal as saintal described, still don't know how he got the footy.
- Watching my Hawthorn supporting mate realise they were going to win in 2008.
- Adelaide coming from 5th to win the flag in 98 (gee that was a good finals system ;) )
- Giving it to REB in 98 after he kept rabbiting on about how we were no chance.

Being a neutral supporter at 2009 GF. Unbelievable tension from start to finish. Tom Harley's words after accepting the cup - 'We Are Geelong'. Said it all. It still has an effect on me when I hear those words uttered now.

Being at the '97 GF, too many memories to list. But McLeods bump on Harvey in the middle was a massive moment in the context of the game.

85 GF Sticks squaring up with Wildy.

Half time, 1998 GF. My best mates old man jumped in his HSV and did donuts in the street out the front of his house. Lived on Military Rd at the time.

Another moment I'll never forget from last year the glare I got from Mrs DW after Alan Didak's awesome smother and goal and then banging into her hospital bed in my excitement.
