For the Cats, as always, it will start in the middle, the quandary that may well see Vardy become the next Mark Blake (missing out on the Grand Final) because of the impressive output of Trent West is a delightful situation to be in, his continued form at the bounce will be a key, as will the inherent need for Podsiadly and Johnson to kick straight.

No quandary - Vardy is out for the season.

West Coast will stick at them for a half before Geelong power away. Cats by 5 goals.

The group did make a promise to each other after the 08 GF that they would never lose to the Hawks again......does this group have the same despise towards west coast?

The cats are a better side on paper and should win, but west coast will take some belief from their victory in WA earlier in the year.
IMO cats by 3-4 goals

the cats did give the eagles a 6-7 goal headstart and got back to almost square, i think that result will be better for the cats then the eagles

Geez where to start, I'm happy we have gotten this far, but seriously I wont be happy unless we give this game a decent crack. Kennedy is alright and no facial damage, so thats good. Lecras will play there is not doubt about that. Geelong will be very hard to beat over there, I believe they will get us, but I have hope that we can come to play and give it a crack.

We just need our big monstars to get going. The battle in the ruck will be huge.
