Scully to GWS

It seems as though he is going to GWS. No great surprises with the money they have offered him.

Meh
No surprise.

Melbourne can feel hard done by.

I struggle to feel that, they were lucky getting both Scully and Trengove anyway - in the end they were average, and got Trengove.

They are lucky they weren't in the same position THIS year.

I personally have no sympathy for them. They tanked, got pick 1 and 2, now they'll get another first rounder as compensation. They've used the system to their advantage, now another club (GWS) is using the system to disadvantage them (Melbourne).

Exactly.

Sure, it sucks to lose a player like that - but they were lucky to even get him to start with.

I wonder who they would've taken if they only had pick 1 ....

Schwab reckons he is on 30-40% more then any other player in the AFL. Front loaded contract expected to get $2mil next year. 6 years for 6 million, not bad at all. cant blame him

I'd rather Trengove.

But I reckon they would've scoped out the interest from both ages ago, and found Jack had no interest.

GWS have 6 million reasons to hope ( I say hope ) he is. The kid shows loads of promise though.

Me neither, but what I have seen he is skilled, perhaps his kicking lacks penetration and he isn't a goal kicking mid-fielder. Having said that, he is/was playing for Melbourne who struggle to kick goals full stop.

In all reality, he is worth about half of what they are paying him. At best.
