From what I have been told the bloke your referring to is a fictional character from an Eddie Murphy film, therefor they are not related.
This 'Webb' you speak of, locals are stating he will play in the rotation and/or out of the centre in the same fashion as diesel williams. But thats just opinions, upto the coach at the end of the day.

FootyMad wrote:Lads, there is a young Aboriginal lad playing for the Bays by the name of Owen Love.
Small prediction, he will play league football in the next two years. Watched him at Kilburn last year (17yrs old) and he dominated. Also has a twin brother playing with the Bays, these two seem to have flown nicely under the radar.
.
I noticed a guy with the surname Love in the GSFL clearances a couple of months ago, this one's first name was Rodney i think. Is that the Rodney Love who played league footy for South Adelaide a few years ago?

I was talking to a couple of Saints players today and they had a trial match against Ironbank on the weekend and got beat by a couple of goals. Apparently they only had 28 blokes to fill an A & B Grade so they couldn't have been full strength. They're playing another trial this weekend against Bridgewater.

NEWMAN if you want to talk about Seaton Ramblers go onto the right forum, you are talking about a trial game between two clubs not even involved in th GSFL.This is the GSFL forum isnt itNewman wrote:the saint wrote:Mate Ramblers lost the reserves by 15 goals and the A grade by 8 goal to Langhorne CreekNewman wrote:Ramblers went alright mate. Couldnt agree more maybe NEWMAN thought people on the GSFL forum would be interested in a trial not involving clubs from the GSFLlimb wrote:Newman wrote:the saint wrote:Mate Ramblers lost the reserves by 15 goals and the A grade by 8 goal to Langhorne CreekNewman wrote:Ramblers went alright mate.
