I'll bet you're disappointed Ian. You walked around Prossie twenty times and that was the only crack you could snap. You should have gone to the beach instead or the Adelaide Aquatic centre ha ha.

I could have parked my motorbike there instead of out in the street

i'm happy that footy is back. have to wait for three weeks for round 2 though ;). as borat stated we were fierce at the ball. players that were good in my eyes: Moore, Mules, Fisher, Ben Kane, Day and Rudolf. just a query though, if it is in fact a trial why was Jarman resorting to flooding. i noticed it on a number of occasions throughout the day...

Very true...Is it the end of the high-scoring era at Prospect?

You would have been laughed at last year if you said a team could kick only one goal in the second half, yet still beat North!

It was good to see the bays turn up with the finest examples of their supporters today,

Absolutely not
They were dominated all day and only lost by less than 3 kicks.
GL just played well, not NA playing badly

Was a slack day
Ive had a go at the filthy grandstand seatings
The warm coke
The cold pie

The scoreboard attendants MIGHT have been arranged at very short notice.

And another piece of gossip was that no Advertiser media representative attended
the game and rang MICKAN after the game for his best players :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
An unimpressed MICKAN named a few senior players irrespective of how they played.
Will be interesting to see the best players tomorrow :!:

She must have been affected by the drought, her crack was bigger than most of the house walls in Adeaide this year.

I think the Pram Lady shot was from 03 as it was taken with my old dinky camera.
A few asked me to take a pic of the "lady" invovled shown by Ian yesterday but I didn't want to risk the lens.
Had to giggle when someone above mentioned North "flooding" when Ive never seen a side such as Glenelg yesterday so desperate to win a trial game that they put so many people behind the ball in the last quarter it wasnt funny not to mention starting to time waste kicking sideways from the opening bounce, showed in the scoreboard too with them not scoring a goal.
Im not sure they would have got to much out of that last quarter or understand the conept of a trial game? Only thing I can think of its a strategy they're going to employ in the minor round and are practising it already? Or their fitness is shot?
Got some shots and will put them up soon as had a late one last night, of course the camera was safely in the bag when Alleway took his screamer.

Well it is a trial game so you might as well trial "how-to-hold-onto-a-lead-to-get-2-points". Thats what trial games are for aren't they trialling different things????
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

i didn't think either side 'flooded' i thought both sides were trying to get as many players as they could at the fall of the ball rather than behind it

from a bay perspective i thought we looked sharper for most of the day (unlike last week when we looked sharp for the first 1/4 & a bit) but as we all know both sides had players that were out or only played a half or thereabouts

how bad is ladhamns' hand injury ?? it was heavily bandaged & he did not take further part in the game after the injury infact he was showered & dressed before halftime
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Dislocated, will rest next week but O'Hara, Weatherley, Hart, Wintle and a few others due back. The boys didn't even break into a sweat yesterday, talking to a few of them today and they felt they could go out and play another game today.
