Amazing how many people seem to think he didn't deserve to win last year's medal and possibly saw hardly any of his games (LL excepted here :) )

I don't think he played badly, I just think there was a peanut in a black and white guernsey, with an armful of tattoos, that played a little bit better.

Hhmmm. I can't comment. I didn't see all of collingwoods games. Maybe he did but Judd is in a calibre of his own. Anyone who says otherwise has no idea

Not to mention a peanut who left the greatest team of all to chase the cash. Juddy would be a deserving winner this season he has been sensational but last year pfft. Murphy might take a few votes off him though. Might even go one two get on Bluebaggers for the Quinella.

Not taking enough $ on the other runners, and can re-open the market now I suppose?

Hard to see him not taking home the Juddlow .. Certainly hope he does.

How could anyone other than Judd win it now?

If last year is a guide, he'll poll 40 votes this year.

Regardless of 2010, Chris Judd has been the premier player in the AFL this year.

The only name that could have given him a touch (prior to missing games with injury) was Jobe Watson, who I think will be leading the count when he got injured.

Despite the magnitude of his win last year, I'm actually not so sure Judd is as over the line as many are saying - have written up a preview on this thread of some of the main chances, which I will add a couple more to later:

Last night on AFL 360, they showed the leaders in all media outlet votings and Judd only leads in 2 I think it was out of about 10 or 12 media. Still sits behind Murphy in the coaches award too.
