Same! Funnily enough it was the only place in Adelaide who asked Mrs G for ID when she was underage!

How about places you got kicked out of?

I was never a trouble maker but got kicked out of two places.

The Morphy for dancing on a table
and
The Tunnel, was taking a leak at the troph and saw some blokes were looking over the top of cubicle which my mate was in, told them to" **** off you ****ing poofs, leave the bloke who's in there alone!" only to realise as I finished saying it was 2 or 3 bouncers who were sussing him out as he was snoring in there.
They then played volleyball with me digging me, setting me and spiking me all the way from the toilets to outside the front door!

Was kicked out of the Archer. No. What was on the corner of Archer street there? Not even sure it's open anymore.

Worked at the AGD at the time - casual day that day, was wearing an old tattered Faith No More tee that was signed by Mike Patton. They wouldn't let me in and I got in a large-ish argument.

The Richmond. Got thrown across the Mall because after I got thrown out the first time I was back at the bar when the bouncer came back in (I'll be your back door man ha ha). Not impressed and he had a good drunk throwing technique.

Didn't get thrown out of too many places as my speciality was drinking in shitholes so bad they couldn't afford to lose a paying customer. I can say that I (and a now departed mate) was locked IN to a (The West Thebby) pub with two kegs of beer as everyone decided to go into town for some reason (when there are two kegs of beer just sitting there WTF??). Those who knew me in my WYC days have probably heard that story. Not a popular REB that particular Valentines Day. I always picked my moments!

regards,

REB

Gee, may I ask how one gets kicked out of PJ's???
I tend to frequent this great establishment and the only time i've seen a mate get kicked out is when he got picked up (he's a little bloke) by a bigger mate & got crowd surfered! Poor little man was stuck out there until the place shut!

Only time I can remember being kicked out was at Shennanigans where I decided it was time for a nap on a table

I got kicked out of the Elephant on the night of my 21st, fell down the stairs at about 1.30am, rolled to the bottom, and the bouncers were kind enough to give me a hand out the front door and onto the pavement.

A couple of others that I used to attend with sporting teams were the British and the Goody Park. Pretty decent pubs, even if not quite nightclubs.

I got booted out of Players for ripping open an ATM.
The bastid took my card and having had a few by that point wrenched at the machine, not believing it when the thing opened in front of me.
Got my card back. Sadly, or thankfully for my safety, I couldn't access the money.
At first I didn't get booted because my wife's cousin was mate's with the bar manager that night and he calmed the bouncer down.
But the bloke watched me for another half hour, his beedy eyes pegging me out, and nabbed me as soon as the BM had gone.
He was about to hit me as he threw me out the door when some lovely young ladies caught his eye and he let me go and turned his attention to them.
He didn't realise they were my wife and her cousin, one slapped him, the other stomped on his foot.
Good night.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

In the early 90's
The Currie Street Tavern AKA "The Club"
Played good dance music till it was sold and the new owners insisted the DJ's play nothing but Heavy metal.

Also used to go to "Baseline" in The Old Lion Ballroom which eventually morphed into "Life" which took over pretty
much the entire pub. IIRC the Lion was in receivership and desperately looking for a buyer so they created a club which
played great music ,had genuine 1970s drink prices and a line up around the block. Ifyou wern't in by 9.30 you may as well have gone elsewhere.

Was once kicked out of Gawler - the suburb, not just the pubs!
