Geez the clubs had a bit of success over the last 8 years. hopefully season 11/12 brings us some more. Should have just had beer after the 09/10 GF, dont know who brought the spirits, but they knocked me for 6 and out after id been filling my own cup for much of the night. atleast you know what alcohol content is in the beer can.

Yeah, after god knows how many beers at the club I called out for people to chuck money in for some bottles, there was close to a grand there in no time, all spent on bourbon for memory..........oh, and some coke.

Still was a good night anyway, was ashame many more people didnt join in and celebrate with us, but i guess the weather did put people off.
Any date set for first up training been thought of yet.

Best Oval: Riverside in the 90's
Worst Oval: Eastern Park
Best Clubrooms: Craigmore
Favourite opposition to have a beer with after the game:Most
Team you love to beat: Eastern Pk/Salisbury West & North
Player you'd love to steal from another club:Adam Ozilins 10years ago
Favourite umpire: Terry Jeffries
Most memorable match: Grand Final wins (5)
Favourite moment: winning premierships and the parties afterwards
Funniest moment: Big mouth at GF against Para Teachers getting stuck into while we batted and then we started fielding late on the Saturday, fired up our opening bowlers in B Moore and A Carman and had them 3 for not much. Thanks again CHAMP! Handsy loved him too!

Best Oval: Eastern Park (for batting on)
Worse Oval: Eastern Park (for bowling and fielding)
Best Clubrooms: Rose & Crown's New ones
Favourite Opposition to have a beer with after a game: Rose & Crown, Parafield Gardens
Team You Love to Beat: Parafield Gardens, Atco, Central United
Player You Would Love To Steal From Another Club: Justin Davies
Favourite Umpire: Les Harrison (by the length of the Flemington Straight)
Most Memorable Match: 2010/2011 Grade 3 GF :D Closely followed by a GF against Gardens in the mid 2000's which we lost
Funniest Moment: Danny Stevens bowling me middle stump only to apologise because it was meant to be an outswinger which started on off and catch the edge to one of the 4 slips.
Also last season Super coming on as 12th man because a player rolled his ankle trying to juggle the cricket ball with his feet. First ball on is a skyer straight down Supers throat at fine leg........ i still dont think Sup got a finger on it.

Best Oval: sandy creek
Worst Oval: wasleys
Best Clubrooms: one tree hill coz the beers are cheapest
Favourite opposition to have a beer with after the game: craigmore
Team you love to beat: craigmore
Player you'd love to steal from another club: lachlan hall
Favourite umpire:
Most memorable match: OTH Bs v craigmore Bs a couple years back in div 3. had them 7/32 overnight defending 160, was most fun i reckon i have had in the field.
Favourite moment: winning my first grand final... even though it was C grade. still enjoyable to win
Funniest moment: sledging craigmores B grade keeper as he came out to bat when we had them 7/32 overnight. he gave some back as he took guard, we warned him to watch his off stump n he replied, in his usual cocky attitude for those of u who know him, 'which ones that?'... first ball off stump goes cartwheeling out of the ground! still remind him of it to this day :P

I would think that anyone that has played against this urban legend would have a few in their top ten funniest moments in cricket, I know I could rattle off at least 5 off the top of my head.

Best Oval: Riverside
Worst Oval: Eastern Park, One Tree Hill
Best Clubrooms: Craigmore, Smithfield
Favourite opposition to have a beer with after the game: Smithfield, One Tree Hill
Team you love to beat: Sals West
Player you'd love to steal from another club: Justin Davies
Favourite umpire: Super Elliott (when he was umpiring), Pete Turnbul
Most memorable match: Same as LM...Grade 2 Semi Final loss by one run versus Willaston at Sandy Creek. Brave last wicket partnership between LM and Clarkey for memory proved not quite enough unfortunately.
Favourite moment: My one premiership and also back to back wins against two powerhouses in their prime in Two Wells & Sals West in Grade 1 2005/6 season? The latter was a 200 game milestone match and these were massive upsets at the time.
Funniest moment: Well Mr Stevens had to be involved. Playing for Smithfield in a Grade 2 match against OTH 12-15 years ago. Danny was at the crease and we were giving him a lot of sh!t....he became sick of it and decided to take guard approx 6 metres out of his crease and for memory faces a whole over in this manner....Crazy stuff! Our opening bowler at the time just bowled beem balls at him.

This was 2006/07 as Craigmore had won the Grade 2 premiership in 05/06 and lost 7 players out of that team and struggled through 06/07.

We had played Rose & Crown in Round 11 I reckon and beat them, Round 12 would've been in February against Two Wells and we beat them at their own ground. I recall this because I had to miss the 2nd week because of the birth of my daughter and I rang during the birth to see how we went and I was just as excited about beating them as meeting my first child.

The round after we played Salisbury West at home and they were bragging how they had won 24 games in a row and not lost since round 6 last season. We ended up beating them and were celebrating the "Giant Killers". That was our grand final for that year as we struggled through the whole season.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!
